Awesome update! was a little worried you had stopped working on the project so I'm very glad your still hard at work on it!

Some quick feedback, I think your mud around the wheels, while really nice is far too hard. I would put the transparency between 75 and 90% and also go over it with the eraser with some gritty brush slightly to remove tiny little bits here and there

Also while mud works for the "_woodland" (desert and woodland camo are separated by different texture suffixes) version, removing the mud and maybe sand blasting it would be best for the desert version?

Also the canvas on the roof, maybe something different than a camo on it? a normal brown and/or green rug would look better IMO

But other than that looks really nice, keep up the good work!

Great work on this. I was laughing at myself because I thought this would be a thread for a Yugoslavian Kalashnikov, since Zastava manufactures their own AK variants and "AK" is in the thread title.

Same comments as Rhino said. Less mud, more sand (since it's supposed to be a vehicle used in desert environments), unless you want to do a Militia version too(in this case, the current texture would be pretty good).

Also, the letters on the sides of the vehicle, there is something odd in it, less realistic than the ones on the back plate.

I love the rust effect.

splendid update, looking really good. And with the texture tweaks that have been suggested it's going to be awesome! we'll be able to reduce the number of those stupid cars that seem oh so popular in current times


also this needs converting into the battle bus that was posted in the ARMA forums

Very good model but 1 thing that bothers me though.. how come there is arabian text on serbian vehicle... I don't think vehicles like these have gone away from the balkans..

Good question. I assume in reality it's not used there at all, but I guess we take insurgent cars as "generic" anyway. This is just something to add a bit of variety

True, it's a different (worse) font. First I found that one, then my brother searched for about 10 minutes to find the better ones, so we picked the other one for the plates. I will probably use it for that side note too.

great update, oh and you got to love the arabic text on the sides: العمليات الخاصة (alعamaliyat alxasa or alkhasa in english transcription)
