Now it feels a bit weird cos you have no idea from the physical cues in the game when you are able to aim the most accurately.

No, it's not possible i'm afraid. The animation could reflect the time taken from sprinting to fully settled, but if you only sprinted for 1 sec and brought the gun to bear you would then have an incorrect animation carrying on for 3 seconds un-necessarily.
Good idea though, brought it up myself and that's the reason it can't be implemented ^

I doubt it because BF2 was at one point made with 128 players in mind but they scrathed it at one point and it was never implemented successfully, but its possible to use this feature because it was left in the engine and wasnt removed, well it was still unfinished anyway
So thats how they did the 128 thing, the system was allreay in the engine, but the "bullet goes where my gun aims" is impossible (my guess is) without the original sourcecode because that system is untouchable without it, just like the VOIP system =D

I meant that they might be able to introduce an superficial sway that just indicates the amount of deviation not the "real deal".

I used to be accurate at firing.. but the past couple of weeks.. More so with the Auto riflemen kit, If i crouch and don't move the optics.. after 10 seconds i still spray everywhere. A bug or somethin?

The deviation and aiming sucks!
PLEASE JUST ADMIT THAT AND FIX IT!
As far as it is know I think that the AK weapons are the best by far.

I agree that the AK-74 that the Russians get make me feel really powerful. With the scope it just feels so accurate and powerful...
This being said the smaller higher rate of fire guns also make me feel powerful in urban settings.

Both.
Also in close fighting auto is overpowered because the semi fire weapons are way too inaccurate to be effective. AUTO > SEMI all day long up to 30m in PR.

Either way, both semi and burst mode sux in close combat. I have been playing this mod for years and as this patch goes AUTO really is overpowered in close fighting.
Burst should be a good choice but it has way too much recoil and deviation, so u very likely miss first and even 2nd burst and then the enemy has lots of time to kill you off.
Also one burst isnt even always enough to take down an enemy because the three bullets dont go straight... I thought the whole idea with burst was to give a more powerful hit in the same line. Its not shotgun shells...

Deviation being the way it is kinda ruins CQC. Often times the most effective way to kill an opponent is to run up on them firing madly without your sights up. I get kills better that way than if I sit there and try to shoot them with the sights up. By the time deviation settles, they've noticed me and turned to shoot. If I attempt to fire when they're turning, I miss and the battle quickly ends with me on the floor.

To be fair, I played a lot of Skirmish one night, I forget which server. With sights up deviation is relatively tiny in CQB - I remember being astonished.
It's true about 3-burst though, impossible to stay accurate and inevitably you get one or two shots on target and then they badly wound you before you spam-click enough other bursts to land the killer shot. Not helped by the fact that AK's and G3's do more damage.
That said, the G3 is crippled on Full Auto.. I remember getting killed by an M4 because I failed to hit the target and the recoil surprised me. So it's a bit evened out. G3 ftw however.

Why do you think it is that others have no problem killing you, but you have problem killing others ?

Id asume its BLUFOR vs OPFOR weapons and in that situation BLUFOR allmost always win hands down which is ridiculous

all you have to do is get as close to the enemy as possible and spray from the hip

all of which are EPIC and much better than the m4/16, the SA80 can compete so can the TAR but still OPFOR weapons are EPIC

Indeed! I'm more happy taking an AK47 around a corner inside a house than an M4! Thats what I love so much about insurgency. Getting the other guys get close and than hose 'm down tommygun style
