When was this? What map? We'll need more specifics to be of any assistance. Feel free to report these issues using our Contact an Admin forum on the TG web site. You'll find a link to that forum in my signature.

As far as balance goes, I was on until 9pm or so Central last night and can tell you that the rounds were pretty evenly balanced in terms of wins and losses. There was no team stacking on TG's part as TG tagged players were pretty evenly dispersed between the two teams. At the end of Dragon Fly there seemed to be a number of players disconnecting from the militia team that caused an imbalance of something like 9 players, but that was when the round was almost over (and indeed it ended about 5 minutes after the report). Prior to that it was a stalemate in the city for well over an hour.

With regard to not responding to reports, I'd have to review the logs. I do know that with the constant stream of all-chat reports tend to get lost in the noise. Our admins are available on our teamspeak server when they are on the server, so if you can't get a response to a report then reaching one in person on teamspeak is the best alternative.

It was night time in my hour not sure what time you guys run at
It was mainly a shijia round, I in the middle of the round but the Chinese stayed on uranium the whole round after that. My report wasn't something huge, and it fixed itself after a few minutes of the report, but it was damaging the team a bit.

On TG stacking from what I saw , there where no [TG] tagged players on Chinese and some on british, whether that was the source of the unbalancing I don't think so it was more the overall team skill (with lots of new players) and the actual player numbers having practically a 5 man difference between teams and some more innactive/afk player on the team.

I think I heard something about the teams being balanced in the next round but I might be mixing stuff up

I joined up during Shijia and was placed on the PLA team. At that point we were down to Uranium Mine as our last flag. I joined a squad and we flanked around to try to recapture (forgot the name of the flag). We ended up engaging a Warrior and destroying a FOB with an arty strike prior to the round ending in a British victory.

After that round there were no balance issues that I saw. Our team lost again and then won the next map. I think that was pretty even, although I only played 4 maps (partial Shijia being one of them) before I had to leave, so I had a small sample size for the evening.

Overall it was a good night on TG with lots of teamwork. I will speak with the guys on the admin team about being responsive to !Reports, and as I said, you can always speak to us in person on teamspeak.

FYI rodrigo, a LOT of TG regulars are not tagged players(not even all admins are tagged). So just because there arent any tags dsnt mean that there arent any TG'ers.

I was personally there for about 6 maps last night and I responded to every single report that was not already responded to by another admin.

Thank you for the commanders also! had some good commanders last night on most round.

I already knew that, and never meant that the unbalancing was due to those players, although my wording was bad.
I meant that the admins weren't being active and noticing what was going on apparently on the chinese team because from what I had seen with the !admin command they where on the british team.

I noticed 1 or 2 squads nearing the end that where actually trying to attack but most fo the time it was a total mess on the uranium mine.

Next round seemed fine.

We were pushed back to uranium when all forward spawns were gone and no medics alive. Then they pushed hard on uranium with arty.

My SL asked other SL what they were doing. Don't know what came out of it, but he finally gave the order to attack.

But to be fair to the admins. There was a lot of chatter going on, that was not round related.

Lag is getting pretty ridiculous on TG. I don't notice it as much on any other server but TG.

Hey TG, I don't know if this is the place to post this. But I'm getting a message saying i've been blacklisted from the server when I don't think I've done anything to be blacklisted. (Besides possible cursing, which if that is the case then I completely understand). I would appreciate a ban reversal if possible, or if not. Just at least more info that lead to my ban. (I think this is the first server I've ever been banned from in my 5+ years of PR. [except possibly in my early days where I blew up a car bomb accidentally next to a server clan squad..] ) would just like to know what I did wrong.

Thanks!

You are correct, this isn't the place to post this. Hop over to our forums and repost this in our Contact An Admin forum (link in my signature block below) and we'll be happy to address this with you over there.

awesome, thanks!

Also, something that it might be worth adding to the front page of this thread (if possible) - you need to register for a TG account to access the "Contact an Admin" page. [when I saw "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" I assumed it was the webpage may have been changed. - the original post is from 2009]

Edit: I think the link is out of date actually, i just registered my account and it still says "Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" -- not that it matters all that much to me, just for anyone else in my shoes it might be worth fixing.

No worries! I actually realized, that it was because you server kicks people when at 88/90 (I forgot about that) - my bad!

See you on TG some night then! If I can manage to get on the server before it fills up!

Just had a freaking awesome round tanking on Khamisiyah before another excellent round on Muttrah. I think our tank squad on Kham went 50-2. Thanks go to the commander and excellent air support too.

Definitely experienced less rubber banding last night Cougar.

The true test will be Dovre with a full server. ;)
I know the server had trouble with that scenario a few nights ago.

Oh, and it was great to see DB, fuzzhead, dtacs, AFsoccer, silly_savage, etc. on last night.

I was ready to throw the server through the window yesterday, but we tweaked some settings (and got some very helpful advice) and it held up nicely with 98 players for Khami and Muttrah. I didn't stay for Muttrah, but the round on Khami featured some fantastic teamwork on the MEC side and my squad had an absolute blast defending the bunkers for over an hour.

Good times!

Hopefully some better hardware soon and things will be cooking!

Oh yeah?! I was going to ask about this but Trooper said it was being kept hush hush.
But a big thumbs up for better hardware!

Also, is the SM script working properly for 100 players yet? I've been thinking of giving TG my moneyzz.
