me and cas have been messing around with the jets and i noticed this map, since the jets have changed kashan which was big now feels small and this map would be a great cus of its size. this would be a great testing ground for some jets that go super sonic. ps map looks great, hope it is out soon some great battles will be on this map.

big yay, unlike qinling infantry has something to do. The only thing that is kinda left out is armor, but that could be placed in still.

i think 1 tank is good it could spawn at the airfield with about 3 apcs.

As long as you keep the number of armored vehicles low I think it would be pretty good.

Is the island on this map the same size as in vanilla?
I dont think you want the island to be too easily defended, this map looks like it could just become a hopeless stand off with alot of spawn killing

watch the video of this map there are also some screens. its alot bigger then the vbf2 wake island.

Yea thats looks good, Ive seen that video before actually but I didnt think it was a PR map
Looks big enough for two forces to fight it over without one being forced into the sea too easily/quickly
The hillsides look alot less steep then the original wake

On the Commander screen, there's an option to display only a certain type of unit (infantry, car, APC, aircraft, etc.) on the Caps Lock map. It's a stretch, but it's the only part of BF2 I know of that can discern between different types of units. I'm not sure if it can be 'hacked' to read enemy units at all.

I SURE hope you put this map out SOON, whether it has jets or not, this will be a superb map to play. Thanks for all the hard work, and here's hoping your bosses give you each a weeks paid vacation, JUST SO you can git'r done!

Well, given that LCACs aren't possible in the engine, spawning tanks on the island could simulate LCAC/Air transport of these vehicles.
