The announcement from the TG forums.
As some of you saw today, the PR server is back online!
We will be running the server on a part-time basis, most likely 3 days/nights a week, possibly 4. It is our opinion that this will work best in lieu of running the server 24/7 and having it sit empty most of the day. Additionally, the last time we tried to re-boot the server, we had big issues with getting people to help the seed the server. It is our hope that with a schedule that is known for the week, everyone will look forward to the days that server is up (much like we all looked forward to Thursday password nights) and the server will be full very quickly.
So, what's the schedule? Great question! We don't know yet. The admin team will make a post later this week with specific dates and times, but the weekend is a pretty safe bet for right now.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or suggestions, please get a hold of the admin team in the Contact An Admin forum.
Look forward to seeing everyone on the battlefield!

EDIT: The schedule for this weekend.
Tentative schedule for PR this weekend (7/26 & 7/27):
Saturday 7/26: 2pm ~ 10pm (US Central)
Sunday 7/27: Noon ~ 10pm (US Central)
Server may be left on longer pending admin coverage and player support. Please check the
TG 
R forum for more details including map lists for each day.
Counting down the days until Squad and passing the time playing PR.

Do you guys still use the payed slots system? I am willing to seed the server but the attractiveness of seeding the server depends on which kind of system is being used regarding to reserved slots.

Supporting Members will always have access to the server. Currently, the automated script is *not* in place and honestly I have no intention of re-activating it. If the server is full and a supporting member wishes to have access, contact an admin in our PR Teamspeak channel and we will accommodate them in the best way possible that does not disrupt the teamwork of either side (read: no pilots currently flying will be kicked).

I should add - the weekend schedule is still tentative. It is entirely dependent on admin availability. We have no desire to run the server without admin coverage, and I'm sure that most of you would agree with that stance.
Additionally, this server will only be run on a part-time basis. It is there to fill the void before our Squad server launches.
However, that will not spell the end of PR at TG. We intend on running both, most likely on an alternating schedule to keep it lively (at least during Alpha and early access). We are still working out the details on that part. In the meantime, come on over and enjoy a few rounds with us on TG.
We'll provide the server, you bring the teamwork.

Very excited to see the TG server in theater again! TG is actually how i discovered teamwork gameplay back in the day, so looking forward to some fantastic games there again.

Problem is most leave and playing with 4 players on each side for an hour isn't particularly fun. That said, Fallujah match was pretty darn enjoyable even with the small player count.

I actually enjoy the feel of smaller battles on fallujah sometimes. The waiting game can be intense. Just sucks when you're having a good small match and a server crashes and floods your match.

Hey gang.
The Project Reality server is up and running for today.
Here is your starting map list:
- black_gold - Vehicle Warfare 16 - Everyone gets a tank, and on this layer they're all single-seater. It's BF2 tanks in PR!
- muttrah_city_2 - AAS 64 - We all feel the same way, but admit it, this is a fun map.
- lashkar_valley - INS 64 - Have fun humping the hills looking for a cache
- asad_khal - AAS 16 - Infantry layer. Small, fast, good times
- operation_marlin - AAS 64 - get your mech inf on
- dragon_fly - AAS 16 - Not often played, but a lot of fun on the infantry layer
- fools_road - AAS 64 - everyone's favorite, continuing the Militia vs. Great Britain conflict
- sbeneh_outskirts - AAS 128 - more 2k madness
The map list is subject to change to keep up with population levels and community desire to play other maps.
The server will be up all day.
