Re: PR:BF2, Vietnam & Normandy
I personally like the way it is now - PR: V integrated and PN being optional. It's not an issue of quality with me, but gameplay. Yes, they all share the PR teamwork-centric theme. But WWII was a different style of warfare, from the tactics to the weapons. Different enough for the gameplay to vary from "classic" PR. PR: V, I think, will be closer to BF2: PR in terms of style.

I think once PR:N gets rolling, the quality is greater etc. then maybe incorporate it?

Pfft... put me on the Victor Charlie side and I'll change everything you think is conventional PR fighting my friend.Buren06 wrote:I personally like the way it is now - PR: V integrated and PN being optional. I would prefer they all have a unique style of game play given the varied era weaponry each one is based on. I'd like to see a server dedicated to PR:V when it releases not integrated. In that way if I want to play some 'Nam I play on a PR:V server, if I want to play dubya dubya 2 style I'll get on a particular server and if I want to play just straight PR then so be it on a server(s) dedicated solely to PR.
If there are servers that wish to mix it up than so be it but some dedicated servers would be preferable for me.

I'm glad that PR:V is being released in the same release as PR:BF2(like with PR:Vanilla XD) Not like BC2 and BC2:Vietnam where it's like a second game, anyone get it?

I think the only thing that's keep PN from the PR standards is the animations in my Opinion. Don't forget it was only a Afterdune with a hand full of volunteers including me. And he did a superb job on the mini mod.

The animations are a big point yeah, but there's also a large amount of weapons that have sub-par models/textures/LODs. While the animations are probably larger a problem, getting those things up to standards is of importance as well (and unfortunately not little work either).[R-DEV]Spush wrote:I think the only thing that's keep PN from the PR standards is the animations in my Opinion. Sometimes you'll be tired of modern combat and want to try something different. Just tell the admin and set the next to PRV map, pretty awesome!
I don't have to find another server and restart the game. It's easier for players!

Maybe people who created PN use some textures and models of FH2. I already launched a topic about this in the FH2 forums. Go have a look. Some teamwork just like PR. (An Error Has Occurred!)

No. The mini-mod use models and other from BF:Korea, Battlegroup Frontlines, IDF : Fight for independence, Eve of Destruction and eXperience World War 2. Nothing from FH2.

He's suggesting that PN obtains models and textures from FH2, not that it's currently using them...
