a penalty to someone who was recently revived does make sense. that's where to make a change to the medic system that will effect overall squadplay. for someone recently wounded, for example, stamina is capped at 50% for a few minutes. that changes how a fight will play out dramatically, giving the squad with the fewest revives the most mobility on the field.
I
strongly support this.

There already is something like that though.
After you get revived you have 2 minutes in which if you go down you become dead, but yes i would support a stamina decrease too.

I can't think of any way we could block the stamina in BF2.
Sorry guys.

Hmm, i expexted that... however, when one is wounded to b&w, he cant run, so maybe keep the stamina effect for longer, and visual effect goes away when your healed, as it does now.
So everythime you get healed from B&W, you cant run for 2 minutes or so? Maybe thats possible.

Stamina reduction would be useless in bunkers, T/H shapes, generally in defense.
@AfterDune, how about adding 2 or X seconds to healing time?, or adding a malus after pick up? Is it possible ?
I think that healing time is the easiest way to make "pick up'ing" a bit harder.

Also take note that stuff in these videos are still WIP. For example, the medic healing time that is constantly being complained about has already been lowered

What exactly does Ancientman mean with that? Sounds like healing time was decreased?? Seriously?
Who complained about it taking to long to heal someone? Its already way to fast. Hopefully he meant the opposite and wanted to say that healing time would get increased.

It was lowered from this that was in build form which video come form, it was something like 30 seconds.
Now it's longer than in 0.98, but not that much, as in this video.

@work, cannot watch it right now. So I have no option but either rage or jizz until I come home, when new 1.0 stuff gets announced

Some kind of extra penalty during the 2 minutes post revive dead dead period would be useful to disadvantage players that have been revived and also to remind them of the dead dead risk they run and when that period is over.
Reduced stamina as previously mentioned
coughing audible to enemies
A slight blood or suppressed effect
Or a combo of the above.

What about blood trails? Can it be implemented?

if you mean blood on the ground, i doubt it. im not even sure if there are footsteps on the ground.
some things that i thought of and should be fairly easy to implement with a server side python script would be:
1. when moving too much your wounds pop open again and you start bleeding
2. your wounds start bleeding randomly again
3. combination of both
this would make a soldier that got revived a constant hassle for the medic.

After watching the new gameplay, having the healing set to a higher number really does make a difference.
Now, we need something as proposed before or a mix :
-Stamina
-Black and white lasts longer
-Coughing/pain hearable to enemies
Because it's really annoying to have a nice and awesome mortar/CAS strike on a position and rushing it, then see the whole enemy re-healed to full when you were running to the objective...

Healing should take longer not only for the Medic to heal his team mates but also for you to heal from a patch. That is at the moment also way too fast. Make the "health resupply" from the patch take longer please.
In regards to stamina shortage, unfortunately I believe that is connected to how much health percentage you have and once you get healed, your stamina will be working fully again. The only possible option I see is if you would use a python script that would quickly reduce the player's health back to B/W for 1 or two seconds and then back to the percentage he had before. Perhaps that would reset the stamina for a bit and would also make the player vulnerable for those two seconds. Repeat the process a few times through the 2 minutes timer that currently exists.
