This... And I will understand better... Ive explained alot of times that there're some things I cant control like map sounddistance on some maps that (in the past) had the chopper bugs etc.
These distant codes are controlled by the viewdistance of the maps. If a thing moves into the "fog" you wont hear it...

Compare Albasrah with Kashan and youll see what I mean.

Cause I can hear every tank loud and clear. If I now increase the volume for everything I can garantee that people will say that they're too loud compared to gunshots and explosions.

Btw, what audio settings do you use? If you use xfi, ultra high it can get very bugged...

You just had bad sound card and or drivers mate, there's nothing wrong with the ultra mode, doesn't even makes sense.

Actually no, he's right. Just because you aren't experiencing anything wrong from this doesn't mean others aren't. I haven't seen a lot of the bugs people are reporting, though I have seen a couple of them. I personally don't think they're too quiet compared to the draw distance- I can hear them fine.

Today, I was russian on Saarema. I was just coming out of the forest towards the airfield when I saw the M1A2 driving towards me 200m away from me, that I did not even hear. Once I saw it my ears actually paid attention and I heard it a little bit, but it is still stealth as hell, just like a normal car IRL pretty much. And yes, it obviously killed me!

Abrams are loud as hell, just check that

Bought myself a audio card, fixed all problems I had with the quiet or weird audio on vehicles. The card was ASUS xonar DGX and cost 30€, it supports EAX as well, so its win-win-win. Card is available for PCI (DG) and PCI-E (DGX).
