Wouldn't it be much cooler to run out the back of a transport plane like the Osprey and deploy? Probably a lot of work but food for thought.

We actually had that for PR:WW2 where you could jump out of the C47's

Worked quite well tbh. But it's a lot of work to set it up.

Wow having a feature like that would be great for squads wanting to deploy behind enemy lines etc. I guess you Devs have enough on your minds for now, and btw the updates are great. No complaints from me.

Diffuse, there is a normal but I added some nice shadows to make it pop a bit

Its mainly a normal map baked from a high poly model that lucky.BOY made along with the low poly model.
