That is a NTW 20mm which comes from South Africa...

Pretty much all high caliber rifles are made recoiless, by engineering a weapon right, you can reduce much of the recoil, I wont be getting into all the details tough.

By the way, I think a 20mm could do quite some damage if fired at the cop-pit of a chopper... Yikes...

No that is not a .50 AE, it is a NTW 20mm.

Isent the one in the picture you refer too the 14.5mm - the shorter and smoother barreled one shown in the top picture being the 20...

They are the same rifles with the two different barrels. fatter one is the 20 and the thinner one is the 14.5.

Well the SRAW isnt a dedicated anti-armour weapon.. The warhead is fairly weak/small and not useful in punching a hole in the frontal armour of MBTs, they are usually only effective against the rear/top sections of MBTs whereby the armour is the weakest..

Those 20mm AMR are only useful against lightly armour APCs and vehicles, against MBTs they only used to destroy ERA platings..

In that case I guess it could be used to save missles versus heavy armor. Hezbollah and afiliates in Lebanon had a habit of using AT teams in pairs. The first missle could take out the ERA plates, while number two would hit where the passive armor is exposed.

The NTW comes in 2 versions which can be quick changed, theres a 20mm version and a 14.5mm version as TerribleOne pointed out, the 20mm version has a shorter, thicker barrel... And now that I think about it, im pretty sure the one shown is the 14.5mm version.

And as Super62 pointed out, those arnt the same rifles, the top one is the Croatia RT-20 20mm Antimaterial sniper rifle, the bottom one is the Mechem NTW-20 South Africa.

ALSO, PLEASE STOP QOUTING EACH OTHER, WE HAVE NO NEED TO SHOW THE SAME PICTURES OVER AND OVER AGAIN, JUST PUT "IRT" (In reply to) AT THE TOP OF YOUR POST AND THE PERSONS NAME YOUR REPLYING TO

Actually i was not refering to the top one on the forum - click the link that was provided to the source of the botom image and youl see it has the 20 and the 14 on the website. The two images on the forum are obv different guns and i did not say they were the same.

Also my last reply had no quote in it because i did think it was pointles to reply with images and all

The Marines don't normally deploy Stingers at all... you'd be looking at something like this:

... for the life of me I can't remember what that vehicle is called. But I took that picture South of Al Kut... it' basically a Hummer with a modified anti-air turret.

Along with that, Marines didn't normally use Bradley's either... not to the degree of the Army.

We would like to include the Starstreak in man-portable, lightweight multiple launcher (ground or Defender 110 mounted) and/or self-propelled (Stormer) configurations. It would function differently from the other SAMs in-game in that it is SACLOS laser-guided rather than "fire-and-forget" IR heat-seeking like the Stinger or similar missiles; the operator must keep the target "painted" in his sights for the missile to track it.
