I'm sure at least a little bit would be sticking out. Then all you'd have to do is aim an RPG at that mofo and there you go.
I've seen loads of semi-hidden and glitched rally points, but the RPG never never fails at taking them out.
If it's really stuck in, a H-AT would definatley take it out.

Deliberately positioning your rally point to exploit map elements and so render it invulnerable is cheating and should be punished by server admins accordingly.

Oh, he was hiding it in a wall? I thought he just put it in a building.

Just for emphasis. x2.

The dev's have spoken. Now they have to just contact other servers and make them put that in their rules.

What about when only one of the bags stick our of the wall ?
I do it a lot and since they can destroy it, in real war situation you lay them against the wall and not in a pile near the wall...
Edit: NikovK said when you make it invulnerable it's not allowed, when only one is sticking out of the wall you can still destroy the rally point with Grenades/C4 .

Or RPG's. People always forget about RPG's. Much more safer and effective and if you can see it whilst holding an RPG you can take it out.

Was it IN a wall?! Or just in a building

Nope: imagine hiding all your shit in cupboards or wardrobes.
No glitch, no exploit IMHO.

yeah but still, youre not supposed to go inside the skins of the buildings. even if its partly in the skin i think it should be frowned upon. having it completely inside should be disallowed. its not a question of reality, its a question of fair and unfair advantage. groups of 4 bags dont birth adult human soldiers. you have to think within the context of the game.

I'd like to see you respawn after 31 seconds

Something like this often happens, because RP is randomly generated somewhere around SL (at least I think it is so). Problem is that even if it is destroyable it is definitely harder to find - which is also some form of glitch as it is clearly an advantage for your squad. It is a misused core feature of PR (although usually it is misused unintentionally) and I hope there is some way to prevent this

JP*wasteland.soldier wrote:Of course it's glitching. It's using a glitch to your unfair advantage. How is that not glitching? "War's not fair". Oh, I see, so hacks are perfectly acceptable too then?
When I see people doing this I tell them to stop spawning there and set a new one ASAP. If I see one more guy spawn there I contact admin.
If you classify glitching as anything unfair that you are using to your advantage, then you could classify the 0.4 M4 as that, dolphin diving, insta-proning, and a lot of other features.
People to need to actually secure the area after taking the flag instead of instantly jumping onto another flag just for a little action. While I think it should be fixed, people still need to use their heads and track down where the reinforcements are coming from instead of "willingly" letting them come.
^^^^Yes, you can destroy them in the wall. I think sometimes people don't know the difference between a mapper spawn point and an actual rally point. Grenades and AT can still take them out and that has happened to mine before which I put next to a wall and it went into it.

Right. And aimbots are OK because they simulate lots of training.

Those are not "glitches" though.

When something is messed up in the game, it can be classified as a glitch as well. The M4 was not planned to be that way, so I would classify that in a way as a "glitch."

Yeah, just because you can doesn't mean you have to. If it's obviously something that you shouldn't be able to do, why not have some "honor" and just not do it?
