One caught, hopefully not too many to go. R-Mod's I'd recommend you contact every known PRMM server and get any pricks caught hacking banned permanently. I don't get hacking. What's the point of playing prmm, a mod fun for it's realism, if you're going to hack?

That site has been alive for quite a while, I dunno if it's real or some bad scam, but it is technically possible to do.
Wouldn't get my cash either way. People like this are sad and cheap.
I know a cheat when I see one, been playing these types of games since the first appeared.

When hacking's financial impact is greater than that of the cost of legal proceedings is when it will happen. Which is nowhere near anytime soon, hacking effects <1% of the community. The closest to that happening is probably valve, due to the large percentage of hacks in CS, but even if they take out that site or even most hacking sites, they cant stop the hackers so how does that help their bottom line?

just keeping them subdued with evenbalance is going to be the preferred solution for some time.

You can find video after video of guys making their own Hack movie clips. I see new ones all the time on You Tube and Google Video. Some knucklehead makes a video clip showing off how he is using a third party software program to cheat. I've even seen a couple from PR 0.32 and 0.4. Punkbuster doesn't have anything to stop them. Hell I've even heard of guys hacking and then bragging about it to there team during the game. So long as the team is winning they don't care, but when they get auto switched and then starting getting owned they cry about it. Kinda funny if you ask me.

EA doesn't care, they already got our cash and continued on. Most of the time it seems they don't use aimbots they just use a wall hack to see thru walls. That way they can just lay in wait for you to stick your head out cause they already see exactly where you are anywhere on the map. If I already know which way you are coming it's easy to just lay and wait for ya. There are new videos posted all the time. Hackers suck!!! Just my 2 cents.

One thing that could be done is to use the video and screen shots they made to determine an ID and then you can have something to use to get them banned for good. Just a thought...

Damnit! All this time I've always wondered how those A10 pilots did 'perfect' strafing rounds. I'm not a bad A10 pilot myself, I don't crash it, I can land it, and I can hold my own in it. But, in order for me to shoot, I must do fly-by's (really low) to at least get a glimpse as to whether there's someone there or not. I got a little suspicious when these pilots would do perfect runs (killing whole squads) in one run without having to do a fly by as if they knew where the enemy where. I just assumed it was pureluck and with the 30mm Gatling's power I assumed that it was lucky spam that got me.

Thanks for bringing this out. At least now I know.

BTW and FYI I have found through X-fire directory and google searches that the [clan tag's] these people are using are often associated with the gT.goldman and friends?

Unfortunantly I too have noticed other OTB players doing things I find suspicious. The main one being (im not naming more names here) a sniper shooting WAY beyond fog limits on basrah. They were managing to hit people in the US airbase.

Could it be possible they somehow got into the BF2 files and made it so they can see an extended range? Like you can go in and change your visiblity meter. Could they have somehow made it so it like 2x"s the view?

No unless they are pro's or else very good just going in and messing around with stuff will give you MD5 errors I believe.

Someone recently told me that those msx programs only work in singleplayer. That if you look at the names in the screenshots, they're like "P. OShaughnessy,
C. Carter, D. Cooper..." they just used single player and acted like they could do it anywhere. It doesn't work that way. The ones with different names are probably hacked server LAN games or a mod.

like all of the insurgants were visible, probably solid red or blue and they could just strafe nigth and day. too funny. i just say ban all members of that clan from every server. Since it is becoming apparent that more than one of them are "hacking".

If we could just get a goddamned confession from one of the guys who are doing it, than PB can probably track it. If PB knows what they're doing, then it can be stopped.

yeap Im with fishwork. Something was fucked up on that server (devfile.com). SOMEBODY with an A10 was cheating. Probably nametag cheat (can see all nametags for both teams.

Some of the places where you died was retarded. I sat AFK for 5 minutes while I was eating, I was inside that second story house with the stairs, and I was killed by the A10 with a single pass. Impossible without cheats.

And the commander thing: SOmetimes there was a commander sometimes there wasnt, but it wasnt 'suprieor commander skills' it was one clown in an A10.

Although I know, a good commander can make a very effective foward observere (although a bit cheap) but it wasnt that at all.

I am working on getting punkbuster screenshots up ASAP. When they are up hopefully in the next few days I will have it set to automatic and I will be going through in one every 2 days or so.
