That would be awesome. Like you tap reload and it does a faster reload and holding reload key down keeps the older mag and puts in a new one.

"in real life" one cannot fire a m203 at the floor 3 metres away and expect to live

i like the idea of keeping your mags. mabe when you press r you can switch between your mags. Since soldiers do not throw away there mags anyway they put them back where they got them when they were full.

"hmm shit i got 12 in that one 1 in this one and 30 in this one :D "

lol, in real life the grenade wont even detonate, it would just bounce along the floor. :P

I think this mod has really helped this game. I know several of my friends (myself, as well) can't really enjoy the standard game anymore! This has really fixed many of the more glaring issues I've had with this game since release.

One concern... the M249 seems to have a bit too much recoil. Is it just me that feels this way? And no, I'm not completely ignorant on the subject. Not that it really is all that big of a deal... just the only thing I can find to "complain" about :)

yes, the recoil is a bit too much. shame i chose the heavier machine gun as first unlock...

hehe, its wont fall 3 metres infront of you, its would detonate probably 20m above you, as they have a 14-17sec fuze self destruct :P

Actually for the M249 the recoil is supposed to be less then the other LMGs well according to the code, or maybe its just that the M249 has a smaller aiming ironsight (small like hole) compared to the other LMGs, thats why its seems harder to control/aim with it.

This is not the case anymore, esp. in urban warfare. Refer to http://www.military.com/NewsContent/0,1 ... 05.00.html , or just search the news pages for other cases that resemble these tactics.

That's what i wish bf2 had. The m203 safety device thing (what juice was talking about). That will put an end to those m203 troll's.

The M203 dont got any fuze... It is like a clock that rotates.. and bla bla.. :) but if you ever used one you know :)

also when you fire the AT weapons there is a blackblast that goes at least 10 meters behind the gunner if it is a CS grenade that is used.
If you fire a AT4 with standard ammo you have a backblast that is well over 17 meters.. Fire that inside a room and you are dead.
It is not possible to fire inside rooms because of the blackblast.
This would be cool if it could be fixed.

the AT rocket for the US is not the at4 its the Preadator which i believe was designed to be fired fired from more confined spaces

A. every soldier carries 2 tourniquets which just stop the bleeding
B medics carry some sort of real medicine or animate them giving stitches which actually give the health back

Awesome idea.

 Someone gonna crank up a Poll for Beck's idea???

Sounds like a great compromise.

Well if the 40mm doesnt have a fuze, then how the hell does it detonate? :P

the SRAAW (Predator) has soft launch capability, meaning it can be fired from confined places, like inside a building.

All we need now are some AT rockets with a novel explosive warhead. Does wonders for stiff resistance in confined spaces.

What we really need are unguided AT Rockets.. To make vehicles survive longer, all those guided ATGMs ownzor all the vehicles in the game and practically makes then useless, they can even take out helicopters.

Just need some RPG-7V, Carl Gustavs, Type 69, M136 AT-4, NLAW MBT-2000

i wanna see milans and jevelins i dont care if there guided or not so long as there 1shot-1kill

id go for unguided weapons, that way the vehicles can actually do something in a fight.

hehe, Slamming a SRAAW up a tank arse 300m away is totally evil..

the m203 is a contact type deal, it arms after flying 15 meters. anything closer than that it wont blow.
