Just want to say this mod is absolutely fantastic...the maps...music...new weapons and kits, it really is absolutely excellent, and I am really loving it.

Welcome to the game, I was thinking, are you from the Red Orchestra community? I played with you a couple of times if I remember correctly.

tactical gamer is the server i have been on most - awesome experience, even if my ping is high.

And yes Lugubrum I am in the Red Orchestra community, still there - I lead the mod project Mare Nostrum. I find that PRs team work is even better than ROs though, some great ideas in this mod.

The one I hear which most frustrates people is the kit system for requesting kits...I agree with some of their points, havign to be at the main base to request your sniper kit again for example, could mean a 5 minute ride back to the frontline, which isn't exactly fun, as unless I am mistake, spawning at your rally point will not allow you to request the kit again...

I think it would be better if you could request the kit at homebase...and then it lasts you for 3 spawns...on your 4th spawn however you DO have to request it again.

It doesn't worry me too much since i like playing medic/rifleman most of the time but just throught i'd throw that out there!

That is a mistake. Except of Heavy AT, AA, Crewman and Pilot all Kits are available on your own rally point. But remember only your own, not that of other squads. By the way, supply crates deliver kits too, as well as APCs. If you do not get the desired kit, always read the quartermasters message, it willl tell you why.

MrD is the prime candidate there. He's got an itchy trigger finger.

Trouble is when we operate in close sqauds we will be inclined to TK each other rather than anyone else much more. There's certain clan members who are much worse than others though! I rarely TK tbh.

Sorry about that mate. Don't know who it was but it wouldn't have been when i was on as I would have recognised you. With 2 TK's and private rank and bottom of the scoreboard you would have been a prime candidate to be kicked to make room for clan members etc.

There is a honour code in PR that goes "if you TK or wound somebody, you apologize". Quickly too I might add. Either use COMROSE - SORRY -, VOIP, or text.

This can get you kicked on some servers where administrators are not tolerant for noobies or their lack of knowledge on the secret hidden codes of honour not widely known. Now you know. Now you will not get kicked.

Oh, and don't shoot the messenger.

word! only got kicked once by autokick when a fully loaded apc drove on one of my mines

i tk'ed some 1 or 2 ppl each round for the first 3 or 4 rounds but if you apologize, ppl don't get crazy at all but understand coz most of them tk occasionally. in fact, it's the most lamer-free community i've ever seen in a FPS. it's only these short spawn servers where you find smacktard admins (i got kicked for destroying an enemy RP on muttrah Oo). so rather stay away from these .

LOL - I do sympathize. Been there, done that. A wee bit off-topic, but I had one fella who repeatedly kept firing upon me. He got the "cease fire" and had me capslocking to give it a rest. Still he kept firing upon me. I got up from cover, fired one shot (lucky shot by the way) and killed him. I then texted: "If you are gonna TK, do it right"

I still chuckle over that episode.

Yeah I always apologise for Tks, its good manners generally.
