Rhino, you really did my day with that tank comparison post :D

If that's how something "visible" looks like....I wonder how something "invisible" (aka their code) would look like....or maybe I don't want to wonder.

Remember the Tag Bug, and how it took them more than 1yr of patches to fix? >.<

To me the obvious answer is: Well of course!!

Many people want to escape bunny jumping, nade jerk fests, having to insert entire clips onto peoples head before they die and all the other arcade shit the original (and followed with most mods) first brought to BF2. Many people want to fight it out as it should be done. Mods that just give a cosmetic difference from vBF2 aint that interesting, hence the number of ppl trying out this mod.

Yeah, here is some other good news.
http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php? ... rder=grank

A PROS PR server is ranked really good (19th) out of all the BF2 servers.

I have been monitering this for some time. The best TG has done is 18th.

Die vBF2, die.

Go PR.

Umm... yes PR kicks anything that EA has spewed out in the bf2 franchise, but I think we're being too harsh on EA/DICE and we've got to give them a liiiittttle credit for creating bf2 in the first place. Not too much though. Just a little ;)

Agreed.

The ironic thing is, when PR 1.0 comes out it is going to be so awsome that people will buy the orginal game. Dice and EA are going to make even more money when this happens.

Hopefully, they will learn from this and make their next BF game able to mod better. Not that these devs are struggling with the current BF game.

Well, of course. They made the foundation for PRM and gave official mod support to make this happen. As for how much support...I'll just end it there :-P

NEVER! We must bash the very corporation we buy games from and who gave us permission to use content from those two expansions for this mod! Else we will have no other accomplishments to justify the oxygen we suck in to maintain our bodies  .

Agreed.
Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.
