I have a SoundBlaster X-Fi with the sounds on ultra high and a decent pair of hi-fi headphones, which together have to be producing as close to the intended sound as you're going to get out of a gaming rig, and I do think that the pistol and QBZ sounds are a little on the weak side. I think it makes those weapons harder to use.

EDIT: Incidentally, the AK47 sound is probably the best in the game.

BF2 looks shit with a Nvidia 5200
