Israel would be by far the coolest addition though I don't expect the DEV's to create any new factions. Anyone who says they wouldn't want to drive a Machbet or Merkava is a dirty liar.

We have the BRITISH, and the Americans, the MEC is unrealistic and China is a not totally unrealistic, however I dont think they would go to war with the west for the reason, they would have too much to lose.

Israel or germany are obvious choices seeing as they have unique weaponry.
Russia would just be the current or slightly lower tech MEC with different skins.
Canada is similarly a bit pointless (US-alike weapons and vehicles) but anything to appease the Eggman

On the other hand I am a little worried by the forum's appetite for the pointless additions and the quantity over quality approach. Less is more people!

Russia and N. Korea are the 2 biggest names right now on CNN besides for Iran that justs wants attention. My votes go for Germany, France, Russia, N. Korea.

I recommend to work with what we have. Add maps, weapons, and vehicles above all. People love variety of vehicles. I don't want to see more clone factions. So unnecessary. They all have military equivalents, the only unique faction is the insurgents.

Anyways, add more planes (two seaters!), work on the SOFLAM, the usual bugs, more maps, more weapons, more vehicles in general. That kind of stuff. Another faction isn't worth the time and resources.

Also, I want the MEC to stay in, even if there is no MEC in RL. (There will be one though, you just wait awhile and see... well maybe a bit longer than awhile).
Reason for MEC to stay is this: the US army is simply so powerful, no single nation could stand a chance in a conventional war (maybe China, Russia??) but everybody else would need a coalition to field the necessary ressources.
The problems the US have in Iraq where not with the Iraqui army, but with the aftermath of the war.
So, actually, having e.g. Iran in a prolonged campaign against USA is unrealistic, thus not allowable in PR.

Ad taiwan and the Dutch army ( i would go for Taiwan btw even if im Dutch XD )

more factions are utterly pointless, we already have 5 with as many as 7+ planned! US Army vs MEC, GB vs Taliban would be more than enough for a game. But we also have US marines, a Chechen style militia and the PLA, as well as rumours of Canada. Too many unnecessary additions. The gameplay is what makes PRM great, otherwise lots of skins and models would dictate a games' popularity.

At a push I would like to see a (german armed) Euro force against China in heavy jungle, with the British focused on Taliban insurgents in asymmetric warfare, and the US focused on an MEC desert conventional combat. Doubt it will turn out like that. You have to ask when you make a suggestion if it would actually benefit the mod. Regarding adding more factions in roles that are already being done, the answer is no.

So that would mean. a newly formed EU armed force. batteling China for the controll over oil fields? sounds nice in my head BTW XD

I would love to see some Africas militias to simulate Somalia or Sierra Leone conflicts.

and acutally African militants arent a bad idea, its realistic for a kick off, plus a blk hwk down map would pwn

Dutch army for sure, could be easily done. They wair some Ami camouflage i think so just slap on the C7 and Minimi from the Brits and some faulty English dialogue and you re a winner.

It's gotta be israel theres only the uk and us on sides at the mo so it'd be good to add them in and maybe russia in the future.
