wow... youre seriously in error there buddy. its obvious that ea/dice are impervious to intelligent game design -- they fired the dc team after the dc team added the few good things about the bf2 game. the pr team would have gotten the exact same treatment. not because they are worse or better than dc, but because ea and dice are flawed.Battlepudel wrote:Perhaps there will be a Battlefield 3 (beside Bad Company).
Imagine instead of the makers of Desert Combat (Trauma Studios), the PR would work with EA/Dice.
Means: They would show EA/Dice how a good game is made.

Not really, havent seen a lot of people buy the BF2 just to play PR, and basically PR gives you, what you wanted, when you bought BF2 under the illusion from all the bs EA said about it to promote it...MichSt-Spartan wrote:What would EA do if the PR team altered their code? I mean, it's not like PR is competing with EA. If anything, we're helping their sales.

can't do as much as the BF2 engine. plus, big mods aren't very popular in CoD. just small downloadable mods that change minor things like recoil, crosshairs, sounds, skins, capture the flag and gore mods.blackeagle1992 wrote:my suggestion is that you use the call of duty engine you can do wonders with it and it doesnt demand too good computer
thats what i think you guys should do

ohhhh, who would be willing to buy a muffin made by me for $1,000? Then I would just have to make and sell 50 and then we could think about setting up a game studio, or probaly what would be a better idea is to expand my muffin making companyDesertfox wrote:Yeah.... lets hold a bake sale to raise $50,000! Rhino can bake muffins!
but really, setting up a game studio to make and publish real games is talking about alot of work and would be something very hard to do. I have infact no clue to how maps are developed in the real games industrie yet, I just take it they do it around abouts the same way as me

Put lots of money into a high-interest account in the Cayman Islands, wait a few years, rob a bank, rob the treasury, robthe queen and BLAM! we put EA out of business.
Now, who's got a catsuit I can borrow?

Making a full retail game remotely is IMO pretty much impossible. Planning and designing properly is very difficult if everyones on different time zone. Even simple conversations take days. The whole team should move to one area and have an office. Everyone should probably also leave their fulltime job or school. Someone should be paying our rents and gets something to eat.
^^All that cost loads.
I like Rhino’s muffin idea though
We could sell special muffins made of ‘secret ingredients’ and ‘magical powder’ to Hollywood celebrities
