I agree with agentscar
I think expanding the map like agentscar thinks is an awesome idea.

WTF?
U must be on something
Everyone that has played BF2 or Reality knows that the Bradley is in it.It's called the Linebacker in PR and BF2,the Linebacker is a AA variant of the Bradley!I'm telling u the USMC use the Bradley too!U gies have a hard time listening to want the PLAYERS want I can say this much...AND WE DONT HAVE A FUNKING BRADLEY NOR IN PR OR BF2, FOR THAT MATTER!!

In reality the USMC do not employ the Bradley IFV, in any of its forms, including the M6 "linebacker" seen in BF2/PR. The inclusion of the M6 on a conventional vs insurgent map makes no sense as there are no enemy air assets to be defeated, and unlike the MEC or PLA AAA units it has no particular advantage in elevation or anti infantry firepower compared with the current PR USMC IFV, the LAV-25.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.

The AAAV (formerly known as the EFV) is next generation, and still in the prototype stages (and will be for a good long time if they cant get the problems sorted out). The current USMC APC is the AAV, aka "Amtrack".

UK
Here,I made a new list of assets since u gies wanna whine about the Bradley so much,Basicaly the Brits. stay WOOT! and here's the new asset list for my idea.Remember when reading list:the map is bigger, the UK,instead start outside of the map at a small airfield, that can be captured, and they start with the Embassy biulding in the city. The airfield has everything except the heavy truck, which is at the embassy. The road to and from the airfield has roadblocks, like highway median things. And there are watchtowers around the airfield. The Insurgents can take Airfield,if the other assets aren't captured by the brits, the assets on the map are:Airfield,Embassy (uncap),Gas station, hotel, alleyway, and Inurgent Camp.
UK:
1xWarrior IFV
1xHeavy Truck
1xApache
Insurgents:
2x Pickup Trucks
2xSpawn Cars

If the DEVS llistened to what the players want we would have.
Transparent Snipers (
)
Zombies
Snipers with 5 claymores
Insurgent vs Insurgent
No friendly fire.
Parachutes for SF and Snipers only
SF body armour
More accurate M4 with super ROF
Navy Seals
Spetnaz
Russia
Riot Shields
Insurgent helicopter/planes!
You see, its not that we hate you, it just gets old.

Well...
IF YOU'D LISTEN TO SENSABLE PLAYERS THAT THINK OF REALITY,YOU WOULDN'T HAVE WHAT U LISTED!The Bradley is in fact used in PR the linebacker variant is,play Steel Thunder or Operation Greasy Mull and you'd see that, and the USMC do use it!IF U WOULD LISTEN TO MY BRADLEY MODIFICATION tips i gave in what you would like to see in a reality mod,you see that it would have an advantage in urban maps.REPLACE THE GAY LINEBACKER WITH THE M2 Bradley, and I've dropped the Bradley gies I've made a new list for my idea, that keeps the Brits,so stop ATTACKING me with your obsurd wrong facts that say the ARMY only uses the Bradley,I've never heard such non sense, and u don't even know that a vehicle is in a Mod and look at your rank on this forum, rediculous. And everywhere I go I see Outlawz put negative input on everyone's ideas...But u know what,I'm about done trying to save a GREAT map that PR made, who ever made the map is probably disappointed, you can listen to players and make the map a fav. but no,you just critisize ideas.

agentscar ...............that is the problem.
You, who have just joined the forums, are pushing.
And guess what ?
We push back, often and hard.
If you don't get a positive response you should stop.
But u know what,I'm about done trying to save a GREAT map that PR made, who ever made the map is probably disappointed, you can listen to players and make the map a fav. but no,you just critisize ideas.
You should also learn to use spell check and perhaps brush up on your grammar if you want people to take you seriously.
You are like so many others you demand things and won't take no for an answer and then get angry when people push back.
If you want a larger map, make one or talk to others who agree with you and collaborate on making a larger map.
You don't really know much about military equipment and there are lots of people here how do and thats' not even counting the active and retired military who are part of the DEV team.
I'm curious, have you read everything that Outlaw has posted ?
Probably not but you did notice that stupid and outrageous ideas are shot down but you keep pushing for yours.
The DEVs are very friendly to positive useful suggestions, unfortunately almost none of yours meet that criteria.
Some of us like it when people like you keep pushing because we like to push back.

"Must...push.....harder...."
I dont know wether your name is "Agent's Car" or Agent Scar", but I do know one thing, mappers spend months on their maps. Creating an atmospheric map such as Street, into the size of Al Basrah, is just insane without the mappers arse fusing with the chair they're sitting on.

Hey, he has a good concept, a real tight urban enviroment but there are ways of convincing people and then there are ways of p1$$ing people off.
I think I'm pretty good at both.

Pwnt by Armed. You said it all, mate.
Anyways, I'll try to clear up both points of discussion here:
Bradley IFV: NOT used in PR/BF2. The M6 Linebacker is, yes. But not the Bradley.
Expanding Street: Making a new, bigger Street could be done, of course. In fact, it has been suggested before. But it would require enormous amounts of work. That's why it hasn't been done yet. So if you want to try your hand at mapping, go ahead. One problem with making a map like that, though: lag. With all those statics, lag's bound to be immense.

More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

We're not disputing that the M6 is a variant of the M2. What we are saying however, is that in real life neither variant is used by the USMC and as such, until the current "US armed forces" faction (they retain USMC ingame, and that represents the core of what they are armed and equipped with) is split up into "USMC" and "US Army", which is planned for a future release there will be no IFV variant of the Bradley for the US and they will retain the LAV-25 as the IFV for the forseeable. The M6 will remain as the AAV, representing a US Army AD unit seconded to the USMC for a specific mission.agentscar wrote:I am new to this forum, but not new to PR at all,and I apoligize for demanding so much...But I'm ending this discussion with this, srry, but the Linebacker is a variant of the Bradley u can look at that here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M2/M3_Brad ... ng_Vehicle

An M2 or M3 Bradley IFV would require an entirely new model as it is not permitted for mod teams to edit EA's original models, and as it is the M6 and armed with Stingers, rather than TOWs that the IFV variant has to be accurate an entirely new model would be required. So such an investment of time and effort is not worth the cost until the US Army is implimented.
The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
