'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']Afaik there is only one air unit that uses miniguns on Blackhawks, SOAR which is a special operations unit.
In the Army the miniguns are most common in the 160th SOAR, but the USAF Pave Hawks (rescue squadrons, no longer AFSOC) use them too, as do Navy HH-60H and MH-60S CSAR/SWS helicopters.

2. The other transport choppers can't hit sh*t in a cess pit. Giving the BH uber l337 miniguns seriously unbalances the game. Yes I know this is a reality mod and it should be close to life but I think maybe we should give the miniguns the firing ability of an M240. Yes it wouldn't be modelled but it would be realistic. It also would balance out the transport choppers.

Corps Blackhawks don't use miniguns because Marine Corps Blackhawks are painted in a funny green color and only used to transport members of the US executive branch and special guests.
Marine UH-1s use miniguns quite frequently, though. As for the other transport helicopters, consider yourself lucky that EA/DICE had the "arm everything" mentality and armed the Z-8, which I have never seen with a door gun and cannot carry rockets.
Increasing the rate of fire to a realistic level would not be possible, as the max ROF in the game engine is 1800 rpm, and the game f*cks up the least when rates of fire are set to factors of that number (200, 300, 600, 900).
