Yeah,I also think that it'd be sooner PLA&MEC against USA&UK.

UK & US are so to say allies for lifetime, and to PLA and Mec apllies: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" at the least.

Although, that could also just be because of Bush.

Heheheh.

Can a new team that's completely identical to PLA/MEC not be created for the purposes then. I don't see why not?

You could copy a faction and change teams, but would take too much time and extra mod space, not to mention, you'd need new sets of snow/mountain camo, so basically you'd have to reskinn two factions top to bottom.

So your saying to have another team you'd have to have the entire PLA/MEC on disk twice?

I don't think Kashmir would be a good idea because

a) its not near the Middle East

b) why would the MEC be fighting the Chinese?

c) its more likely that Pakistan and India would fight over that location (or Pakistan/India versus China since China holds a part of that area).

d) If you want snowy places why not Russians versus Insurgents/Rebels in Chechnya/ other parts of Russia where there is conflict.

The MEC would represent Pakistan was what I was getting at. Although in accordance with the general consensus that the MEC are an Arabic force it's obviously a bit silly. Something we have to deal with at the moment though.

MEC wouldn't be fighting the Chinese. Pakistan and China are allies. You would need an Indian faction.

No need for that, not everyone is aware of every geopolitical alliance there is.

Didn't know the two were allied though. Idealogical Atheists teaming up with an Islamic state seems kinda off (although I saw some picture on the tourney forums of something that would suggest it so I shoulda thought of it really).

India faction would be awesome though.

A...so it's a tad east of the Middle East...

B...It's the MEC against India...The MEC being the Pakistan forces, which are probably as close to an actual modern day fighting force you can get in that area...against India...which I would like to think would be 'PLA-lite' in this situation...

C...Exactly? Kashmir has been contested for awhile now...causing both countries involved to gear up to nuclear state status for it.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to be a jerk...I just really like the idea...and out of any map BF2 currently has (aside from Al Basrah) it certainly has the most 'reality' in it.
