Map suggestion - Kashmir

Kashmir is the fertile region between Pakistan, India, and China where much turmoil has erupted over the decades after British colonial rule of India stopped.

Now I think there is a good map opportunity here when looked at from several angles.
1. A Kashmir-based map could possibly involve the PLA and MEC against one another, or alternatively a rebel army from the north.
2. A winter-based map hasn't been produced for PR yet, and Kashmir has lots of snow to play with.

Just thought I would make a post to see if anyone was interested in the idea!

would be cool to have the PLA, MEC not fighting against USMC, GB but against rebbels, would be cool to have snowy map 2

I disagree with Grunt's reasoning...otherwise insurgency maps would be in poor taste when it comes to arabic players... But riots are generally between a police force and an unarmed mob... There are examples of the army being called in to quell a riot (Tiananmen square and Kent State come to mind) but the rioters themselves are almost never armed.

*edit* To stay on topic...I agree, Kashmir makes a pretty good hot spot for new maps...

I think I've read somewhere that you have to define side 1 and side 2.
MEC and China are both in side 2, and if I remember correctly, you can't have same sides fighting between each other.
Well, I'm not a DEV so I could be wrong

Yeah I can imagine that been kinda likely. Although I would thought there would be some way of the devs finding a way round it, making another team with identical equipment and skins but with another name etc. Could just name both teams after the respective divisions in the area.

Can't be done because they are both "Team 2's" as Deadfast said.
But the map idea itself sounds cool, just hafta decide on a Team 1 team and a Team 2 team, not two of the same.

not possible to do mec vs. china because i think they are both considered the "bad" team, while USMC/GB/Russia = "Good" team

aka team 1 and team 2.

cant have team 2 fighting team 2...

Map about "demoncratic" uprising in china is absurd!
Chinese people stand strong behind the People liberation army and Communistic party because they know that Mao's thoughts are TRUTH and they know how dangerous are imperialistic pigs to their peaceful lives!
It is possible there would be some traitors who would help invaders on Mother China soil but those are just a few lost souls who will be rejected in afterlife by their ancestors for sure!
