Id be for it. Im still in OpReal but I only played PR in it once, I wasnt pleased with the attitudes of some players... :(

But I had a lot of fun playing ArmA on it. Thats for sure.

I'll give the true Mods a try when I get out of class. i remember i tried it once a while back. I didnt like the new Recruit crosshair, but the true View is GREAT, lets you look around like a real human can (over shoulder and such) And inside vehicles you can look around more too in believe.

Anyway, this is getting a bit offtopoic.. :) mainl my fault! Sorry!

Does anyone still have one of those images of the BF2 bullet flight path, PR's and real life? i know that was going around for a time as this convo / ones related to bullet trajectory comes up quite frequently.

I hate it when all aiming aids/grids etc. on scopes are so fake in all computer games. The aiming grids in bazookas and sniper rifles are just so fake they never ever even don't try to work as in real life! I HATE THIS SO MUCH!

Also there are always complete lack of information of the amount of bullet drop... Do they say in the army that well you have to try it by yourself and ps. the grids are just fake?

1- point and click, there is next to no shell drop over 1000m irl
2- use the tracers

I reckon modding Arma to have realistic magnification levels on optics could work. I really don't know why they didn't do that because I believe they have realistic bullet travel paths.....

They have realistic bullet paths/scopes now. Maybe its just cuz Im a nub, but this looks amazing. The guy went through and made each rifle/round fire like it should in real life. Apparently vArmA uses default generic bullet specifications. This guy went through and changed each round to match its real life counterpart... Also, I believe it fixes the ACOG and such to have tick marks that actually MEAN something! :)

At least... I was amazed...

hmmm, I'll believe it when I hit a guy at 600m by using the appropriate part of an ACOG reticle.
