Hey, I'm sorry if this topic was finished, but I would like to contribute to the "Head Bob" suggestion:
Firstly, opinion-wise, I think more games should have head-bob. This isn't a realism thing I'm peddling: I just think that if more FPSes had head bob, it would add so much to the experience and help immersion greatly.
Aaaanyway. Anyone here downloaded + tried the "Frontlines: Fuel of War" Beta? No? Didn't think so (I imagine a game like this would cause most of the community to vomit out their own spines in rage (not much realism, Y'see)).
BUT! From such an unrealistic (but HILARIOUS) beta comes some really good features that help immersion greatly.
Yes, there's head bob when you sprint; proper headbob, not just the camera moving up and down a bit. More than that, there's motion blur when you look around quickly!
I think this game is good evidence that head-bob and other immersive features can improve a game considerably.
