I guess people enjoy keeping in touch with friends that they don't get to see too often. But I agree the ADD APPS requests are annoying.

i'd join, but almost everyone I know or talk to have facebook and how do i put this. The PR community isn't really a group that matches facebook if you know what i mean. I hope I don't offend anyone lol.

Ok, MySpace is very different from Facebook. On MySpace you can go on just about anyones profile and look at all their information, pictures, etc. With Facebook, you can only access your networks profiles. For example I can't see other people's profiles who go to different school unless they friend me or I friend them. I'd say MySpace is more for creating new networks, Facebook is more for maintaining the networks you currently have.

Also, from my experience, people generally don't just randomly friend you unless they know you in some way. Facebook has been great for keeping in touch with a lot of my friends since we all went to off to college.

But anyways, back on topic. I joined the PR Facebook group a while ago and started a thread on the group about people's in-game names.

There's like 116 members now.. that's a lot of people for a facebook group based on a video game mod.

And let you people know my real name? Forget that!

And WRT people only adding you that already know you, you'd think that's the case. It usually is. But all my hot female friends get more friend requests from random creepers than normal requests.

For some odd reason random Norwegians kept calling me on skype to insult me about a year ago- Dunno what the heck that was about but the block function stop em dead after wierd norwegian number 4

Why make a Facebook profile with your real name in the first place? I never understood what was up with that.

Last time i looked the DEVS/FOUNDERS were not the admins or the head of this group, that makes it an unofficial group. I'm on facebook, but i wouldn't want to join this group unless the devs are the head honchos.

Check the admin names again, Darkpowder.

Joined. And BTW why would you reg with your name? Just don't let everyone befriend you and only let your friends get all info. Simple.

Joined, so? A name is a name is a name...so long as there isn't a photo of you naked or something as your profile pic, they've got nothing to pin on you. Plus, the most you should see of mine is my name and uni.

Been in it for a while, wouldn't mind joining as an admin to make it more offishiul
