No helicopters on Fools road, that would ruin the forest fights.

if there should be any helo, it should be a Lynx (which will come with a future release) or a gazelle, but both without arment and just spawning after holding helo for 15-20 mins

IIRC, a thread commenting on adding the lynx was locked with the closing comment "Not a chance"

there are nummeros threads about the lynx, but he will come, but the model has to be remade, since the old one is lost, but the brits will also get a light helo as all other regular armies do

And what about the DEV comment that it will never happen?

i think he meant, that the old modell will never be in game, which is true for sure, since it is lost

I don't think you're hearing me, Maxfragg; as far as I recall. The comment the DEV made implied that you can keep dreaming if you want the Lynx in

People already prefer to ask choppers for extraction, even if it's less safe and slower than taking asking an APC already in the area for a ride. Try offering rides in an APC to people, and 9 times out of 10 they'll just keep waiting for a chopper, instead.

cause as far as I can tell, most of the flags/armor/vehicles aren't anywhere near trees.)
If you need to have a helicopter, it should be the scout helos (aka littlebird, etc.)
I was thinking about just transport, because attack helos would be hard to use(how are you going to hit someone in the forest???

When I first read this thread, I was sure that it would be another FASTR0Pz NAOW! thread, so this is a pleasant surprise. I would love to see more helos, especially with some of there new roles in .7 (supply crates and the like). But really it depends on the map, some just aren't suited to helo gameplay.

Transport helos ruin the point of the map. Other wise the British could drop troops everywhere and completely take over bases, vise versa with Militia.

Yes I do.

0.7 has seen probably the biggest influx of transport vehicles, more so than any other PR release.
You will find that you are in need of transport for a few reasons:
A) Your team is lacking in the brain cell department and everyone is trying to drive their own private vehicle, meaning that the majority of Infantry are left walking miles or just going nowhere. In short, your team is inferior and they deserve to lose, otherwise the map is unbalanced.
B) Your team are operating fine, but you are soloing, looking for your own private vehicles to get from point A to point B, to dump it and let it rot. Move in squads and units. In short, you are a incompetent team-player, making the whole game allot harder for your team.
Advice:
-Join squads and stick with them. If your SL has any plans, he could get your squad a transport, by driving the trucks or calling for an extraction.
-Create squads and keep them close. Laying rally points can make movement alot easier. Even laying them every 100m or so is worth it.
-Get a good book. Start running and put yourself on auto run, by pressing one of the team/global/squad chat buttons, allowing you walk without pressing.
