need helicopters!!!please!!!

on a lot of the maps there is just too much area to cover without helicopters. Take fools road, which is a great map, but there is an excruciating gap between bases, and I have heard a lot of complaints about it. Please, on the next patch will someone put at least one helicopter in the big maps?

I'm fine with Fool's road not having choppers.

Though I really would like to see Fool's Road and Mestia from the air; I reckon it'd look glorious.

On the subject of 'more choppers' - MORE MERLINS, PLEASE :(

My solution to this problem is to add more areas to fight in aka more capture points/flags. I look at a map and there are only like 5 CP points but the map is like 3 times bigger than maps with 7 or 8 CPs. Kind of silly.

The big laggy things? I pray not.

Not all maps are suited to helicopters, and not all maps that are suited need helicopters. On fools road you need to learn to use your vehicles or hump it out. Helicopters are for the lazy or the weak.

easy, HELO base, if the rebels cap it, they will get a MI24 HINd, if they hold it for 15 minutes, and british, a APACHE if they hold it 15 miuntes

Same, take the suggestion above for instance, any attack helo would decimate the opposition, whether high above, or far away. (Please don't tell me trees can cover you :roll: cause as far as I can tell, most of the flags/armor/vehicles aren't anywhere near trees.)

If you need to have a helicopter, it should be the scout helos (aka littlebird, etc.)

Adding helos to fools road would destroy the map. If they are attack helicopters then the armor becomes very useless, and if they are transport helos all of the infantry battles of the map basically turn into firefights at the flags, instead of maneuvering through the woods.

thats why we give the militia a 2 seater gazelle with an AK-47 straped on the side of it (j/k make it a RPK)

A scout chopper would be valuable on fools road deffinatly, wouldn't spoil anything. Only obsticle is that there is no british scout chopper available to use in game.

But I think Attack Choppers are needed on Jabal.

I think a transport chopper spawning on the Heli flag would be nice...that was there's incentive to go after that flag...but the merlin lags like crazy so...

Yea,That would've been nice.The only map the Merlin doesn't lag on is Op:Ghost Train and some times Basrah.

personally, i think it could use more armor rather than choppers. this would even out the guys having 120 kills and 3 deaths.
