I play Al Basrah almost exclusively now a days and i like EGs ideas. hopefully the DEVS or Gods, as EG put it are watching this thread

nice thread I like your idea´s, I fully agree with you on the sks being switched for AK...or get a better model for the sks, Tbh the sks doesnt fit the quality of the other pr weapons. And someone wrote that the ak74u should be in there. I really dont think so, I dont think the ak74u is a common weapon for insurgents/millita, so imo thats a unrealistic choice. maybe get a AK47S or a AKM. that would be nice to see ingame, and a little offtopic here but the brittish spec forces kit weapon the L119A1 doesnt seem to match the quality of the pr weapons either imo. peace

My biggest problem with what I Read in your first post, you make it sound like these are organized people, they are just random guys who come with anything they can get their hands on.

THough I agree with the cell leader, it's a bit absurd to give the UGL rifle to the SL.
I say give the ability to get pickups again to insurgents. With the cahces, it's almost like a QM, so give it back so you dont have to keep the insurgents with just the default kits. Basically its like your searching through the pile and getting the kit you want.

One more thing....Take a look at my thread on ins weapons, for a list of possible weapons to add to the list of weapons

Known issue. There is a number of threads discussing this. It's an old model and no, it's not up to PR quality. Hoping for a replacement when we get the new M4s and so on.

For Iraq/Afghanistan insurgents the AKS-74u would not be common no, but for Chechnyan militants I think its a fair bet, they are within the eastern bloc with lots of access to russian and ukranian firearms.
