there is better body armor. that is coming out of Fresno CA, but the US gov will not buy it. because some of the senators and other gov people don't know the stocks for this better body armor.Conman51=US= wrote:yea i agree w/ taht..its just i dont think Amercia has the money or will have the money any time soon to buy all this....so it should not be in PR
if America had enough money sure buy it!!!!1...but I dont think it will make a diffrence.....like your really going to text your commander "we got hit by a ambush!!!!"
we shouldnt be spending money on computers taht let your hearing increase (what happens when a grenade goes off next to you and u have the volume turned way up...your ears pop)
but we should be spending money on reaserching better body armor
you know the pic of land warrior system that you have posted in the old lay out. back wan it was just in the developing. the new gear that they have is lighter and more stream lined. and talking to one of my friends that just came back from over there likes the system him self and wants to use the gear.Hotrod525 wrote:Land Warrior system is far from complete, and far from active in field. To be honest, i think this system is ****.. like Conman said, it give to much info to the soldiers adding confusion on an already stressfull situation, worth to much and it dosent make any difference.
Lets run 15 miles whit this then try to shoot streigth whit that, and is not really discreet
US gov is corrupted. they don't want to save troops lives they make money off of them dieingDr2B Rudd wrote:lulz, was just watching videos on that YouTube - The shocking truth about Dragon Skin

the testing for dragon skin is not valid. part to the US army banned it 2 months before testing it. 2nd thing its a level 5. and the US gov still considered classified. i wonder why that is?? and a few generals ware waring dragon skin. 3ed its the only body armor ware it can pass on taking a hand grenade by laying on it. 4th it can take more hits then any other type of body armor out there. that also includes 50 cal.TheSkudDestroyer wrote:Hey buddy,
You're wrong.
If you feel that way, stop playing this game. Just where the hell do you get off saying that? That's a slap in the face to MYSELF and the countless other Active Duty and retired armed servicemen that play this game.
It's a disgrace when constituents cannot be bothered to properly spell "dying" but slander the US Government and those that serve it.
You want to know why Dragon Skin is not used? It's not cost effective. Before you fly off the handle, think of this:
When will a soldier ever really be safe? Dragon Skin, even though it's very effective, isn't going to reduce casualties. The REAL corruption would be paying for something that is supposed to save everyone's life, and yet we'd still have coffins and bodybags coming home.
There will always be war, and there will always be men dying - no matter what.
The army has tested Dragon Skin several times, and it's failed several times. The US ARMY, in it's opinion, feels it's current armor and Interceptor armor is better. I'll trust the US Army to decide what's best for itself, not politicians or civilians.
