I appologize if I offended you. As is my Professional opinion after being in special forces things often change in combat. I would like to see some footage of your guys in gloryhoundz using these methods. I think that would be most impressive....

room clearing is all wrong man. You wanna make sure you check the corners closest to walls first.

So if your in a square room, in a stack, lead man goes into the path of least resistance. Which depends on how the door opens. There aren't doors in BF2, so it would be a straight path. To the nearest corner. Second man runs and buttonhooks the opposite direction to keep anyone from shooting first man in the back. He hits his first corner and moves up about half way through the room. Depends where/if there is a window. Third man follows the first man but stops midway down the wall and covers the first man *aiming weapon toward the inside of the room*, 4th man follows second man and covers the same area generally.

I'll try and draw up a technique.

I also would like to see you guys use tactics like that since I do something similar and it is hard for me to keep my squad together in a formation if a grenade hits or we take heavy fire. Everyone who joins my squads aren't always experts or follow, but when they do, it is still pretty hard and I am no noob to this game. With things like vehicles, choppers, tanks etc. that formation won't last long in my expierence and then you just have to improvise and over power the enemy with solely firepower then.

Well you don't keep them in a wedge if your under fire. You from them up into a line and cup a "C" around the enemy. It will all be shown, this thread isnt really for talking about tactcs. This is for signing up to be there so i know whos gonna show.

I am down with TRYING it...but when the bullets fly...need to adapt.

Just the other night (my first time in a server) I was in soldieroffortune's squad..and we were working really WELL..but...we would get into some situations...and would get TOO CLOSE together. But...a nade took care of that. ;-)

All in all it was fun...but remember to be flexible in these strategeries.

I signed up in your forums.

My in-game is: [H.K.]-Ghost

Just let me know when it is.

You can PM me if you want to :)

I really wanted to be in the military, but I got rejected just after the physical exam because it was discovered (at that very moment) that I'm Daltonic.

I had been offered the oportunity to try out for SWAT Team Training, NAVY Seal Challenge, among other things. After the written exam, I had those doors open, but they all closed when they discovered I have that condition...hell, I discovered it at that very moment myself. All this took place in December 2000 - Jan 2001.

This was my goal since I was in 5th grade in elementary school...but I ended up not joining the military at all. I wanted to be in my place of choice....nowhere else. Now I'm a Computer Scientist, and I do love this field :)

That's some background info regarding myself. Now I play Flight Sims, and PRMM. Hey!, It's better than nothing and the closest I can get. I'm all for realism and realistic SIMULATIONS!

EDIT: I normally log into TS as Ghost

Glad to see people injoyed being in my squad. Were any of you there when we were on the 32player Steel Thunder and took that back flag? Those were good tactics we used there. If you were with me on Shaqi, it is a bit harder to use tactics since it is close quarters, but it is definately possible if everyone just sticks together and takes it slow instead of rushing in like vanilla BF2.

I hope the training thing will at least teach people that the slow way is the better way in this game for the most part since you get to the flag with more people and a better position of defense or attack rather than atracting everyone in the area with a lone buggy. Even if the tactics aren't the best, it is still good that someone is trying to teach the players of PRMM that they help much more than lone wolfing.

We sure did! It was very cool and the tactics that were being taught atm where good ones and very well explained.

Anyone looking for a more realistic way to play PRMM should be there.

I'll try and draw up a technique.
1. Squeeze grenade firmly with palm over spoon.

2. Remove arming pin.

3. Warn friendlies or taunt enemy, your choice.

3. Toss grenade into room.

4. Wait for the burst.

5. Follow through with bayonet.

My highly unprofessional opinion there.
