well a mike is only part of the problem...yes its kinda needed..but if u dont want to spend your money then dont
i never ben commander....so i dont know about that
but if i was ur SL i wouldnt mind u typing or waiting out in a situation so you dont die
but maybe the real problem is the server you play on
idk..i rarley meet ppl like that when i play...just find a Sl who can lead and doesnt mind u not having a mic and stick w/ him for the next couple games

Sorry but I smell a hypocrite.
You insist on everyone listening to you, yet you don't listen to anyone else. You expect everyone to do what you want them to do when you are the commander, yet you don't follow the squad leaders orders when you are in a squad. Sorry mate, but the world doesn't revolve around you. Ok?
I was ontop of the building popping the heads of the enemies near the engineer kit, I was telling my squad leader who was 20m away from them, To get the kit because i cant. There are too many around there and I only have 5 rounds left.
So he kicks me for not listening to him for me to get the kit when i tell him i'm busy in combat, with the exact same enemies i descibed not 10 seconds earlier.
How is that hypocritical?

I stopped reading after that comment, not wonder people are mad at you.
You know whats funny? My MIC doesn't work for shit in BF2 based mods, Only in Cod4 and source engine games.

I could understand that you have no idea how to fire the RPG right or that RPs are destroyable with knives, but when fully loaded Hueys get shot down repeatedly flying into a certain area (yesterday on Zatar) and people keep insisting that they are flown there instead of going with an APC or on foot, then you gotta ask yourself, how much IQ does an average player have...
If you were CO that round, i think i was on the other team, the huey's were insane, flying over our FBs time and time again rather than land at say airport or whatever, and walk a bit.

Where's that mature intelligent environment that keeps me coming back to this game? What? Can't people think anymore before they act? Or has this mod really gone to the Noobs?

I blame most of it on the fact that as others have said, there are some little problems that just build up to many people not really wanting to play until .8. That, and all the DEVs and CONs are hard at work for .8
No seriously...well, partly joking.
Im sure they all havent played too much, I know I havent. And when you take out some of the core members, you lose a good bit of good players. Think of Fuzzheads lack of presence as a great squad leader and the like. This is, of course, not to say that there are no good players said from DEVs. I hope you understand my point

it kinda defeats the perpous of being a squad member if you do not listen to your squad leader. personaly i have to use great restraint to not kick any with that bloody sniper/marksmen **** (i have no use for them in any squad i run). bottom line is.... if you do not want to be lead, make your own squad.
you also may find that investing 5 bucks into a mic may change your whole experience with PR. my self i am too busy to be reading the spammed **** that clutters my screen.

My problem with playing Commander is that my voice isn't really suitable for commanding anything beyond a household pet, let alone a group of thirty independent, sometimes arrogant and often stubborn people.
I understand your rant about being Commander, but judging from your OP, you are a leader who cannot follow, and that is the worst possible type of leader in any military, let alone Battlefield. Until you learn to follow your squad leader, how can you expect to give sensible, coherent orders to the squad leaders as the team's commander?
Your hypocrisy seems to be innocent, but you really should sort it out before even trying to command the team.

The trick to being a commander is to be polite, but take no shit, speak firmly and use big words, it impresses people.

We didn't mind that you had a mosin, but that you refused to pick up the engy kit that was right in front of you and repair our bridges for the good of the team. That dosen't sound noobish to me.
Because i was underfire and i was begging you guys for backup, They had a saw gunner suppressing my position, whilst a feq of you were only 20m away.
And it's not only about you. These past few weeks since i've reinstalled PR nothing has been going for me. From getting kicked for not reviving the SL in time on kashan, to being yelled at for picking up a US spec ops kit on archer. Noone wants to give me a break.
P.S. They had a rally in construction site second floor, when i was still in squad. Why didn't anyone of you bother to help?

I did that really well, used the whole English dictionary probably, only to discover the squadleader was French and didn't understand a single word I'd said.
long story short, we won but the French squad wasn't much help (hopefully that means I'm a good commander since I was a squad short

)

Why is this flame thread of fail still alive?
Ask a [R-MOD] if you think it deserves to be opened again
