...Everyone blames when the round is lost on them! Damnit! I thought this was PR .756! Not BF2 blame game 1.41! What the hell is wrong with you people? I even go commander and give you the locations of enemy rp's with my markers, and yet you ignore them? Then i have to go get my hands dirty, take away valuable command time. And when the round is lost it's blamed on me. 'Oh commander sucks he didn't give us support' or 'Commander wtf if you knew where the rallies were why didn't you tell us?' Screw you! I try my hardest and yet noone listens.

I join a squad and just my luck i pickup a mosin off a dead brit on basrah today, While the rest of my squad is yelling at me over voip of how much of a noob i am for getting a sniper rifle. I'm typing as fast as i can for backup, and help me secure the engineer kits, then they tell me to go get it. I tell em no i cant i'm busy with my mosin popping those little red berets, so i get kicked? Wtf?

Last week i'm on Fool's road as Militant, All 6 of us are pinned down by an apc, While i'm the only one with explosives, everyone is pushing me to be the hero, and go take care of the apc. I'm telling them no we only have 20 tickets left, they've got 8. Let's wait it out. So my damn SL kicks me from squad, and I proceed to be kicked a minute later for being squadless! And guess what? Militia lost!

What the hell is happening in PR? Where's that mature intelligent environment that keeps me coming back to this game? What? Can't people think anymore before they act? Or has this mod really gone to the Noobs?

.756 release has caused PR a slip a bit. The team play aspect has done down some as a result. I see more and more players playing with a vBF2 mentality. Mostly due to assault rifles in game. It will change when the next release comes, so just hang in there. Maybe take a break for a week or so to clear your head. This current style of individualism ruins lots of matches for both sides.

You have to get a mic dude. I just came off having a awesome 2 hour game on kashan as the CO of the MEC. Everything didnt go super such as not having a single pilot the whole game that could help the team but on the whole everything went great and we won, 140-0(about).

Well understand you are playing with real people who are also complete strangers. People only listen to people who they know are good or have a lot determination in their voice( not saying that you don't) People do things that they think is the better thing to do at the time.

"I even go commander and give you the locations of enemy rp's with my markers, and yet you ignore them"- Squad leaders have a lot of shit they have to keep together. They have to have their squad members in check and make sure they really try to take care of themselves. Listening to the Commander is one of the lowest priorities sometimes because they are doing something else. But then again maybe they just didn't hear you.

"I tell em no i cant i'm busy with my mosin popping those little red berets"- If your squad is really that pissed you have just dropped your shit and stopped fighting and just looked for another kit. Even if its hard to communicate, you need to make it clear what your intentions are.

"I proceed to be kicked a minute later for being squadless" - The best thing you could have done was join another squad the prevent getting kicked.

Yep, school holidays! Lots of the new generation of kids with low literacy, problem solving and social skills. I started thinking that with shoving so many of them into higher education I was going to have a problem finding employment in the future, but these saps won't be able to get passed the interview stage as from the moment they walk through the door any manager is going to see they aren't employable.

I suggest you get friendly with good players, make a list of when they are online, then use xfire to see where they are playing and follow them into servers or have mass chats in xfire and get on a server together.

Your time is your time. Don't waste it in frustrating gameplay with the incapable players.

Alright, they don't listen to the commander. You get pissed off, completely understandable.
DavidP wrote:then they tell me to go get it. I tell em no i cant i'm busy with my mosin popping those little red berets, so i get kicked? Wtf?
So you don't do what the SL tells you to do, instead you prefer to stay on a roof sniping. And you wonder why you got kicked. :D

Again. The SL tells you to do something and you refure. So he kicks you. And somehow you still manage to be surprised. If the SL tells you to do something then DO IT.

Sorry but I smell a hypocrite.
You insist on everyone listening to you, yet you don't listen to anyone else. You expect everyone to do what you want them to do when you are the commander, yet you don't follow the squad leaders orders when you are in a squad. Sorry mate, but the world doesn't revolve around you. Ok?

i know what you mean :-) But you have no friends on ts who play the game with you?
I ever play this game with my m8´s. We are only 3. But one of them is a great SL. So we have no problems to build a working SQ.

And we ever listen to the commander. :-) He knows things we have to know to if we wanne stay allive and help the team...

Sorry, I wasn't listening.
I heard the same thing that mammikoura did.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

What PR needs is smart people playing it.

I could understand that you have no idea how to fire the RPG right or that RPs are destroyable with knives, but when fully loaded Hueys get shot down repeatedly flying into a certain area (yesterday on Zatar) and people keep insisting that they are flown there instead of going with an APC or on foot, then you gotta ask yourself, how much IQ does an average player have...

Ha Outlawz, that was me and my squad sitting on that AA just north or center yesterday, funny watching them come back again and again.

OP, get a mic. It's that simple, it's well worth the cost if you play PR regularly. Stay calm, I find that it's best not to order people around, but instead to communicate with them in such a way as for them to realise you do actually know what's going on. Then they'll listen and you'll have more fun.

I've been playing commander a it lately and find it the most challenging job. I have had good cooperation from more than half the squads.

If you don't have a mic, don't go commander. You need to watch the map and assign troop movements. Usually the squad leader has a plan, so unless you critically need them to fall back try to allow them the freedom. Most people are not idiots, you learn who is and not quickly enough.

One very important thing, keep voip talk clear and concise. When speaking to a single squad ALWAYS open the command window, select the squad and use the squad voip button to talk only to that SL. Keep messages concise to avoid stepping on internal comms.
"Squad 2, command, fall back to airdrop and defend. Enemies attacking from the south. Over"

When you are a squad member, follow orders (don't go sniper, reject orders, etc) or I will kick you. It is hard enough being a SL without having rambos and 1337 sn1p3rs in the squad.

Well, thats your problem. Get a cheap mic mate. PR will be 1000% better if you do. I can promise you that!
