It is sounding like someone had a bad game, couldn't win vs a good MEC team and wants to changed. In reality would like to have a Cobra or Huey flying overhead when your defending, outsmart them, use Mech Inf out of APC's drop onto the roofsand into the alleys with LB's. The USMC have alot of ways to beat the MEC, everyone needed to know there job and then you can win.

Unreal, then I'll happiy address it.
The real problem with the picture you put up is the firebase in D5. It's like I said before, AA is a joke unless the MEC are able to rush the docks and set up FB's forwards. The fact that they set up that isolated firebase goes to show that your team was significantly outplayed in the first 15 minutes. During the 15 minutes before the other team could possibly get the firebase up, you could have your entire team on the docks and in a position to prevent forwards AA from going up. That is how you get around that.
If your team screws up badly enough to let AA go up on a narrow peninsula, then use your APCs to pummel the FB and area with HE rounds, use the Cobra to wax the AA instantly and precisely, use RHIB's to let off troops, or use convoys and flares for Christ's sakes.
AA against air assets is the biggest joke in the game. Flares defeat missiles too easily even once fired. And even simple tactics like flying with a wingman make missiles completely obsolete because the two nearly can't run out of flares.

It also sounds like some want to be able to single handedly defeat anything that comes their way and if they can't do it solo they get frustrated. AA raping the choppers? Welcome to APCs and soldiers getting on the ground and destroying them so the helos can roam free once again. Or if you are a real crack pilot attack the AA yourself through cunning maneuvers and smart use of obstacles to block/blind the AA.LtSoucy wrote:It is sounding like someone had a bad game, couldn't win vs a good MEC team and wants to changed.
Yesterday I played as MEC on Muttrah and we won overwhelmingly. Everybody was seemingly on their game and any chopper coming in rapidly had bullets coming at it from multiple directions. The wise thing to do would to fly in fast and precise if they wanted to drop soldiers in the city or just drop them away from the hornets nest but.. So yeah we won then the obligatory comment by someone that the map is biased toward the MEC. I suppose if US won someone from MEC would've said the map is biased toward the US.

I don´t really have a problem with aa? See in the video? On top of that mosque we were attacking aa...
Unless it is a good mec team and a dismal US team, then it is more difficult.

Just watched..good vid. What I hate is when people want the leet equipment to do everything for them so they can just breeze through skillessly. 'OMG I'm in a cobra/challenger/apache why didn't the other team lose' mentality. No, you actually have to use good tactics and strategy as well. People just want cakewalks.[R-CON]Alex6714 wrote:I don´t really have a problem with aa? See in the video? On top of that mosque we were attacking aa...

I didn't realise he was counting the deployed .50s as AA, nevermind.Outlawz wrote:Yes it is, I saw it myself, someone placed down two KORDs and I said over team chat 'great so how are you gonna defend the firebase against the Cobra now?' and someone said 'theres AA next to it dude' and it was.![]()
Anyway I think it's been illustrated there's plenty of ways round AA buildup.
