ive made 2 black strips :

it looks like you have there a smoot issue or modeling issue, check if you have to vertex over each other

Ice do you mean at that intersection or on those lines in general?

Just post a wireframe and we'll take a look. Dosnt look like a problem to me (only the angle the pic is taken from) but a wireframe will tell us the truth ;P just take a screenshot :)

Have you seen me do any work on weapon models? No... There's a reason why. ;)
And it's not that I played with my sister's barbies too much as a child.

A double post. But before, the mods attack me, I very much like your model. Even though the VBf2 one was fine, it is good to look EA in the face while tossing their models into the trash can.

I will be putting this project on hold while I work on progressing the SPG9 some more. Need to think of some ideas for making the pistol grip and butt stock on this thing.
One last question before I put this on the back burner:
How much inside do I need to cover so that a person doesn't see through it during animations?

Ok, last update before this gets reviewed(not for admission just for quality and stuff that needs help)
I am putting together some noobish render scenes to show it better

Looking real good man, however I'm having trouble seeing what I need from these renders, for some reason its hard to judge perspective and size with all the near-same shades of grey + smooth shading :)

If I could trouble you for a few screenshots (not renders) from the perspective viewport with wireframe on, that will be perfect.

After this its time to learn you UV mapping so you dont end up another mass-modeler who cant UV your stuff :P

EDIT: Oh, and if you are going to render stuff in the future I have a few recommendations:

- Switch the antialiasing filter from the default "Area" to "Catmull-rom"
- Place 2-3 different colored light sources around the object so its easy to see the 3-dimensionality of the object :) (use "omni" light sources and avoid "skylight" as it will soften up the render so much that it will hide errors and flaws)

If you want to look at it up close I could send it to you. I'm a noob with rendering scenes so it's not really an area to show off the work for me (I'm the one who taught myself this process in 3 weeks member?)
