Here is other boring video to show how to do a fast landing. Just rewind to 1:00 or so if you don't wanna look me taking off and messing around

You basically don't need to press S at all to land, just keep your forward momentum and glide to the ground.

thats a good vid but to have that kind of a LZ when playing PR is rare.
Il make a vid showing how to do inflitrations in tough spots and the likes with diff choppers.
BY THE WAY:
If you find your chopper movign foreward or backwards or doing somethign funky when you are on the ground with zero throttle, all you have to do is place your throttle to about 45-50% and leave your controlls right there. The chopper wont move at all now, and when you need to take off, you will already be at 50% so you can make a speedy gateway if need be.

And no i'm not a newb and i dont crash at take off
Don't go full reverse throttle then. You need to maintain your helicopter's pitch and roll while descending slowly.

Is hot rod talking about going zero throttle which actually makes you go backwards in choppers??

I had a problem like this on Operation barracuda. I was flying a transport huey and I landed on the deck to pickup people I was about to take off when all of the sudden my chopper just flipped backwards for no reason like someone shot up from under the deck and pushed me backwards did about 2 flips and landed in the water.

If any of you guys'd actually read Hotrods posts carefully, you'd realise that this:

Is the closest anyone has come to answering his problem.
As a few people have touched on, you shouldn't be holding 'S' or fully decreasing your throttle, just repeatidly tap it to decend.
REASON: If you fully reverse your throtte, your controls will reverse, meaning, if you try to roll to the left, you will actually roll to the right. The key is just tapping your decend key or feathering your throttle.

FuzzySquirrel =US= wrote:@Hotrod Are you holding "S"? The reverse thrust on the Helis is a bit excessive if you ask me that could be causing it.
Reverse generates enough thrust to fly upside down

, yay for upside down flying.
