I only did basic training in AA because then I found out AA has a ranking system 10 times worse than BF2 so I wasn't allowed to play on 95% of the servers.six7 wrote:Has anyone played America's Army? I realy like how they did sniper rifles. Instead of increasing random deviation in different positions, they had scope sway. Standing=much sway, kneeling=some sway, prone=minimal sway. If a rifle had a bipod (like the m24), when prone and "H" was pressed, it was deployed and eliminated all scope sway. but limited your field of fire to ~120 degrees around. Even when there was no sway, there was still breathing. When the player inhaled, the scope inched up slightly, and when the player exhaled, it sank. As PR becoems slower and slower gameplay wise, features liek this would be very welcome if we wish to have legitimate snipers stay realistic.
Off topic, another thing in liek about AA is the ironsights. They are slightly faded around the edges giving the illusion of focus rather than zooming in. They are slightly transparent also giving the feeling of looking through two eyes instead of one. It is an amazing feature that I would love to see in PR.
In many games the scope sway's and it really gives a more realistic feeling. I also think the ironsight from every rifle needs to sway a little. Another idea: When you stand behind a small wall and you use your iron sight, that you can lean your rifle on the wall so you can shoot more stable. So you have less recoil and better accuracy.
