Tbh, If the helis handled like in RL it'd be alot harder to do insertions because in RL you have to Flare the Helicopter to a stop which doesnt happen in the blink of an eye :/M_Striker wrote:Oh, I hope this happens... :/

Wait, for real? The speed indicated is the number of game-meters you will travel in ten seconds.
To calculate the speed aircraft should be going in-game..
( ( (real-life speed in KPH) * 1000 ) / 60 minutes per hour / 60 seconds per minute ) * 10 seconds = Proper in-game speed, assuming that one game-meter is equal to one real-life-meter.

Ner it's not that simple, I seem to recall your distance from the ground even comes into the equation to some extent...

Perhaps if you are going at an angle.
Try it yourself. Hop in an A-10, set a marker somewhere, note your speed, and travel horizontally for ten seconds, and subtract your new distance from the marker from your original distance to the marker.
