BDRM better than a TANK?

Hmm lastnight on Infantry Layer kashan, I scored a direct hit on the front of a BRDM, square in the middle. There must be some sort of material issue with the apc, I have about 15 witnesses who watched the HAT fly towards it, blow up directly on the front part of it, and the had white smoke coming out of it (as in it had been damaged but not much)

I too have seen that often, not simply with the BRDM though. Every game of Jabal I've played, when The Eryx has hit a LAV-25, even on the side or top, it would either go off with just some smoke, or catch fire and burn if we were lucky.

What happened to HATs being able to destroy medium APCs in one shot?

There are no BDRM's in PR,so it's possible that it's better then a tank.
