Twisted- I just bought me a new pc and am having some of the same problems. Here is my error message

Can you point me in the right direction on how to handle? I tried messing with the shortcut name but that doesn't seem to work.

I can't tell you how painfull it is to buy this PC just to not be able to play PR!!! its the only reason I bought it.

you need to run as admistrator!

That did it. Lock / delete.

Same problem. Windows 7 64-bit. Tried running as an administrator and then it just closes itself before making it to the splash screen.
