Perhaps the talibans HAT kit might have optics while their LAT would only have ironsights...

just wondering what is the normal RPG-7 kit you see on insurgents compared to the tandem HAT RPG for the russians?

Tandem warheads are designed to pierce through reactive armor. In game it takes 2-3 hits with tandem rpg rocket to destroy an abrams. Or usually 1 hit to make LAV--25 blow. Also Russian rpg seems to be much more accurate compared to the insurgent's.

Russian HAT kit should at least get optics due to its less useful then the SRAW, ERYX, PLA HAT, IDF HAT.
Both hat has the same deviation system. butthe tambien rpg is not wire guided.
And iron sights are not even good up to 40+ meters in PR

no RPG-7s have different warheads designed for different tasks a HAT kit would have a tandem warhead or a HEAT warhead
ussually they use Fragmentation against personnel
I would rather give russians a diffrent RPG isntead of 7 for variety I would give Russians RPG-29

Never knew the rpg-29 looks like a green pipe
the trigger is perfectly camofaluged in the rpg

really? I am almost certain that they use some other kind of RPG besides 7 can not remember which though
don't they use different warheads for disposable RPGs? like HEAT and thermobaric?

Thanks for bringing my thread back from the dead, I never felt like it was finalized.
The Russians and Taliban need optics.

The Majority of the weapons used by the Taliban/Afghani insurgents are surplus of the Mujahideen. As the RPG goes, the Mujaheddin and USA CIA bought Chinese RPGS, the
Type 69 RPG. Which is what you will usually see in the hands of Taliban/insurgents. Units equipped with PGO-7 style telescopic sight are not all that common.
side note: American Made "RPG-7"

Just put some 1913 rails on that *****, now she's up-to date.

For Russians other factions w/ soviet type weapons
How about the Russian M79 knock-off, RPG-22
or the older RPG-16
I know these where being used by russian units in Afghanistan against the Mujaheddin.
I'm not up-to-date on current Russian standards, Anyone know of it's current issue status??
