Yes, use the keys for throttle.

Find your hover - move forward - Hover - Move backards - hover - climb - hover - descend.
simples
That is right.

Hovering would be easier with real gauges but oh well..
I'm good at it anyway. A hard thing to pull off in a huey is a water rescue. Pulled one last night at Operation Barracuda, and it worked very smoothly. It isn't as easy as it might sound though.

Major problem with that is the engine allowing those to enter if they are not close enough. In RL though you have surface tension and waves and ofcourse rapid weight shifts.

But yeh thats bout right but i level out and lower huey speed earlier as it gives me some speed to get away should we abandon the drop.

Hi,
I fly with a Joystick, which really was a revelation for me. I know there's a bunch of people who don't like them, and I've got a lot of respect for them, because maintaining throttle is just so hard on a Keyboard. Thats the number one reason I got one: because you're able to control throttle very precise. It gives you a big advantage on heli training (I think) if you can experiment with different throttle levels.
And for something different: I love the huey's, but when I first learned to fly, I started with a Blackhawk. They're not always agile, but I personaly think they're very good to learn the basic movements with. Another plus is that they've got wheels so plane-ish landings are very easy to start off with
