I did install 1.41 before 1.5, it wont even let me install 1.5 without 1.41, but I'm reinstalling everything now anyways and ill post up the results.

Sigh... Should've tried my suggestion first... It fixes a lot of these kinds of problems.

Hmm maybe I should've put more emphasis on it the first time...

Firstly I would try the removal of your \My Documents\Battlefield 2 folder, and then load up normal BF2, retrieve your account & login, then exit and start up PR. Try loading into a game then. If that does not fix your error, my suggestion for the most fail-safe way to fix it would be starting your install from scratch. Remove PR, BF2 & other mods and then...
But anyway, too late now. About the core then levels, that's what it used to be called... It's now 1 & 2, so just install it in that order... sorry for the confusion

Oh well I had already tried deleting that folder and starting up PR like you said, before I uninstalled, it didn't work.

Oh ok cool. That fix solves a bunch of PR/BF2 related startup issues, so it's always the easiest and best way to start. Hopefully the full proper reinstall will solve it
edit: Oh and by the way, if it still doesn't work after all of that, there's one other thing I can think of. I was pretty sure PR 0.9 installed this fix for you, but maybe not. Once you've installed everything including PR, try this fix at this link:

Ok, reinstalled BF2, 1.41, 1.5 without any error messages!
But, when I go into the game it says Invalid CD-Key, so I close out the game to go in to my settings folder and enter in my CD-Key, and what do I discover? My settings folder is empty!
How am I going to get my settings files?
I'm going to try starting a match in singleplayer.

I ran the BF2 shortcut as admin, and it works fine now.

Yay! Good to hear it was successful eventually. I'd say see ya on the battlefield but we'll be playing on very different servers, so all I can say is "enjoy your PR!"

Nope, can't enjoy PR because it doesn't work :/
Ran it in windowed mode and got no error message.
It crashes at 47 or 48% loading of a map.

Just PR, and I fucked around with it soo much downloading new copy's and stuff (because all the downloads are corrupted) so I just deleted it all.

Ohh ok. Sorry to hear that. Well, just for future reference.. if you take a corrupt download, grab the torrent version of the file & point the download location of the torrent to the corrupted file, it will actually repair the file for you. Then you just stop the torrent, hit "Force recheck" and if it gets to 100%, the file is good

How do you download it on the file?
Like the same folder? Because I can't select the file as a spot to download.

Yeah you select the same folder that it's already sitting in. Make it so that it doesn't start automatically. Then it'll be sitting there with the right path... hit force recheck and it should check the file to like 99% or something, then download the last corrupt bit again. This is all assuming that your install files were actually corrupt and there's not some underlying problem
