Was SV captured? How were the bunkers? Did the U.S. have NV capped already?
Beggining of the map, SV a minute from capturing NV not yet captured lots of ppl in south bunker
Few moving to N bunker. In about 5 minutes we had all flag but NV.

Amazing.
What servers you usually play in AverageUsername?
Well I think I was lucky, but I didnt really have clashes like these. Apart from the times when I did really f up.
I remember the first time I gunned a tank I blew up a friendly APC by mistake, I was so ashamed I was contemplating registering a new nick on EA
I play on many servers, NWA, PRTA,HOG, what is available and seems fun.

Good pilots get you where you want, and abort only when its sure death (and can fly well enough to get you to unusual places). Im happy to find a guy like that in-game, and always try to be like that.
What I do hate is when the passenger changes where he wants to go -in mid air- after Ive planned the safest route to the first destination.

aborting when it's sure death usually means sure death anyway, i respect pilots that say it's to hot and would then choose a better location

Yes i like that too, it's good because it gives heads-up for the passangers too so the squad can plan how to alter their original plan. Some heli-pilots are just cazy skilled though, going in and out of hot zones using covers flying high speed and landing with pinpoint accuracy. Sometimes on single I try heli piloting and it takes about 5 minutes for me to land in a half mile radius of my intended LZ, I actually have much respect for pilots, it was my first bad experience with one (apart from the noob and freeze crashes)

5 minutes or not, I wouldn't fly you into NV.
They have tanks and st.

I didn't want to go to North Village, I wanted to go to North Bunker, or he could have dropped me at south bunker if he thought it's dangerous. If trans-helis won't get you from base to bunkers at the beginning of the game where would they dare to go?

Bringerof_D wrote:"DON"T SHOOT, we're trying to be stealthy you idiot you gave us away!" was what i had to deal with repeatedly about a month ago, the idiot SL didnt realize that not shooting doesn't work if the enemy has already spotted you and are in fact shooting at you. I repeatedly reported enemy which had spotted him and were moving into firing positions and each time he told me not to shoot and getting himself killed then raging at us for firing back afterwards. hell at one point our entire squad got mowed down by a PKM and still he said "dont shoot! dont shoot! oh great now were all dead great job guys." he ahd the gall to say that to me and one otherguy who realized we were being shot at, fired back and were the only two that survived that.
And how did you resisted?
I would most likely tell the SL about his dumb ways and to chill the fuck down. Then leave if he continued to be an *******.

In situations like that let your feet do the voting and just leave.

Ah okay. You said NV in the OP. I was confused
He was a weak pilot alright.

I remember this game because my squad was at SV trying to cap it at the beginning of the game. The same chopper pilot that the OP is talking about gave me a ride there. He TK'd 3 of my squad including me at the SV trying to land. The whole reason that SV was not capped on time was because of the l33t chopper pilot. Then he proceeded to whine about how SV was not capped. Sorry, but i'm not going to put my squad in his chopper again when he couldn't even land on flat ground without killing everyone around him.

I also have had alot of those moments. I join an almost empty server (5ppl) and I want to fly the attack chopper for fun, I can't join the squad because its closed and I ask to open it up. The SL doesn't open and tells me I can't fly it. I am standing there on an empty map nothing to do and I just wanna fly like him. I whine to the admin, he doesn't do anything I get into chopper, admin starts warning me for kick because im not in squad. WTF
Another one, I go on to merk training server and I get killed while going up with kiowa, I spawn and I take revenge (ofcourse) only I shoot the wrong person, they immediatly vote for kick and I'm gone. Seriously that stuff pisses me off to no end, I come back to the server and everyone is teamkilling eachother. I don't care about being shot, I don't take it personal I just have fun killiing them back I just hate when admins kick me or they vote kick me. Cmon guys have some balls.
Conclusion, every game has a certain vibe to it a certain atmosphere or mentality and the PR community sometimes is one of those guys you just wanna punch in the face, repeatedly.
I don't give a **** if you play PR since version 0,00001 you are not cool and you should have some humility.
wow, where did that come from? we should make a thread like this once a month to vent

The main problem I see with that is that you joined a near empty server to fly an attack chopper, really that's what the co-op servers are for. Also when i've been leader of transport squads I won't unlock the squad just because someone wants to fly, if it's mid round and there's two transport pilots there's little point having more, especially as new players won't know where any threats are. The same applies to attack choppers. You whined to the admin, and you directly ignored server rules, what the hell did you expect to happen?

Why, what would you expect to happen? The reason you were kicked is because you team killed, now people don't mind accidental team-kills most of the time, but doing it on purpose is just stupid.

If you're experienced enough to criticise your SL you should not be a Squad Member - Well done for being experienced, now it's your turn to take the reins and be a Squad Leader! There is no excuse for criticising your SL, if you can do it better, LEAVE.
As for OP, i'm sorry, but your problems all seemed to stem from being Rambo and not wanting to Squad Lead. If I join a game and there aren't any places in Inf squads I'll make an Inf Squad. I won't just deny responsibility for myself and use it as an excuse to get the Snipzor kit or to camp an enemy FOB with the AA (which could be far better used by the rest of the team as a DETERRENT which is it's purpose IRL and in game). If you joined an Inf squad where nobody is talking, rather than go to a crate and see what mega-cool kits you can get it would be wise to leave, no?

I am sorry, but your description of how I play the game doesn't suit reality. I am a riflemen 99% of the time I could probably dig up server statistics to show it. I took an AA in a FRIENDLY FOB and used it as a DETERRENT for half an hour, I also shot down an attack Huey for the benefit of the whole team. When the FOB was overrun there were 2 choices, I either stay where I am and scare away incoming reinforcments or trying to attack airstrip that would result in me dying and choppers easily landing on the strip. I did join another squad that had no communication, the one I was in was the only other one. I could also make a oneman squad that has zero benefits for the team.
As for me taking the sniper kit which I did maybe 5 times in history. Why is that a problem? Is it that the DEVs are not competent enough to decide whether the kit should be included or not? Did they make a mistake? Or is it that they thought that a guy providing intel to the rest of the team+ effectilvely harassing/disabling encampents can be a good thing?
