just wish you lot moved your strange continent closer to Europe so that the time zones aren't such a problem.
disposable's future undersea lair beneath the Atlantic should take care of time zone issues for everyone :D

Look for Sunday passwords to start earlier so that they are euro-friendly events. The Thursday password nights are tough because of work/school/families for the admins and we can't really get it going until early evening US time.

We're glad everyone is enjoying the return of password nights and invite everyone to come play - just remember to review the server rules and bring your 'A' game with you.

I promise we won't play Beirut next time....

But thats like tradition now!

Was good whilst it was full and the 'warm-up' round beforehand had plenty of hilarious moments.

Yeah sad that it couldn't start a little earlier so I could get a chance to participate, was able to participate in the build up rounds when the server was full but not passworded and would have been really nice to be able to get some good passworded rounds in.

My 2nd beirut PW night in two weeks and the best beiruts I have played as russian in 0.9. I'm really starting to like beirut as a map and although I had to leave before the map was over it was fun, especially holding the eastern apartments againts what seamed like half of you team in the H building.

Decent couple of games for password night this evening, Gaza Beach was really good fun although a tough fight at the same time whilst Muttrah was just a tad laggy

Yamalia was also cool until I left just now, good to see CnC at least being given a try and working in that setting. Perhaps my reservations over that gamemode should not be quite so severe although im still suffering from PTSD after playing Qinling CnC during the PRT :p

Just a small piece of feedback though, im not really sure why admins should have to kick players to make room for supporting members when the server is at 64/64...? Surely at that point everyone in the server is in fact a supporting member, as those who joined at 62 or 63 should then remove the non-supporting members from the server. In addition it was also my understanding that the kick script is there specifically for the purpose of avoiding the scenario where admins have to manually kick players to make room.

Does the script not work quite like that?

Reason I ask is i've now been kicked twice by admins to make room for a supporting member when I am in fact an SM myself and have been for the last 4 months. Whilst I understand mistakes can be made it is frustrating when you are a fully paid up and dedicated member (I play on TG almost everyday) and you get kicked to make room in this way.

Hope that can be corrected as it does put something of a downer on a game, especially when you are removed, as I was, whilst within spitting distance of the enemy FOB...

Other than that, good games and thanks for setting up a passworded day earlier for us EU players it is much appreciated :)

Sometimes the script gets stuck when 3 players try to join at once with SMs and it doesn't reset back to 62. Although it sucks to be kicked manually as an SM, if it happens it is unintentional since they try to kick the longest playing non-SM and since the script gets cleared it does allow a quick rejoin.

Extremely fun games on the password night.

Gaza was well, interesting, but really enjoyed the atmosphere and lot's of teamwork was present, as always.

With Muttrah VW, it was a bit too laggy, but there was great potential from that gamemode for some really exciting matches!

Yamilia CnC was beautiful, specially with mumble (Can't see how it would work without), as Canadians we had a few epic fights to claim the Ruskie's FOB, finally managing it thanks to Squad 5's SL.

Thanks to the admins for a great evening (and like Jigsaw, opening the doors early) and I hope to see some more of these in the near future!

The new hardware has been delivered, unwrapped and is all set to go!! We're turning it on for full-time usage starting IMMEDIATELY, so please make sure you update your favorites list.

Here are the vitals:

Server IP: 216.40.220.186

It is now located in Texas, so some of you may notice a slight bump in your ping. Don't fret, the new box is smooth as silk and lightning fast, and will more than make up for an extra 20ms in ping you might experience.

Join now! Enjoy!!
