Good Afternoon,
Ok, here's the count of stuff you have to use to take out a cache when you can't get C4.
PKM - 15 mags
Humvee 50 cal - 4 mags
RPG - 16
Sgt.Amato and myself did it just now on HOG in Fallujah.
Now, the funny thing is that we also shot 50cal and RPG's at a hideout nearby. It took 20+ RPG's and 4+ 50cal mags to bring it down to the first level. DADGUM must be built of stout wood.
To complete the above, we had crates of our own nearby to quickly refill our ammo.

The model of the g36's clip will change to empty when you've fired all the bullets.

Okay now that's weird, because I am positive that one RPG can bring FOBs down to its first unbuilt stage (50 cal does shit all but that's probably because of the lack of splash damage). But still, kinda weird.RAWSwampFox wrote:Good Afternoon,

After 400m-500m bullets drop the smallest most annoying amount. After 500m it is noticeable.obpmgmua wrote:I have no idea how bullet drop works.
I'd be a happy if a dev filled me in.
On the same note the "q" ammo check function on the G36 is faster and more accurate than on all other guns. Thank god for clear plastic.PatrickLA_CA wrote:The model of the g36's clip will change to empty when you've fired all the bullets.
Also did you know holding "X" in a non-up armored .50cal HMMWV will play a radio communication.

Yeah, that's been there for a pretty long time, then it was gone for a bit and now it's back again.tankninja1 wrote: Also did you know holding "X" in a non-up armored .50cal HMMWV will play a radio communication.

Re: PR Statistics / Useless Information
Good Evening,
Ok, did some testing today with FOB deployment. As I have stated earlier, it takes 45-47 shovels to build a FOB. Combine that with the understanding that you can deploy FOB assets if the FOB is standing irregardless of whether it is spawnable or not. Well, that got me to thinking, did the timer for the spawnability of the FOB begin at deployment or completion.
Here are the two scenarios:
1. I deployed a FOB and started building. I never did completely finish it but let it stand and waited around 5 minutes and it never became spawnable. Now, I kept putting a shovel into it here and there trying to keep it standing. While it did crumble to the first phase a couple of times, my thinking for this scenario that the timer started at deployment instead of completion.
2. I deployed the FOB, completely built it within 1.35 minutes. *EDIT* Correction: The FOB became spawnable 80 seconds later after completion. My math was incorrect on the original post.
Yes, I know I could have probably gotten this from the manual but I have found that not everything is in the manual nor accurate. Great efforts are made to do so but no one likes to do paperwork.

Good Afternoon,
If you are below the level of a bomb car or gary, you will most likely survive and not have a scratch. Example, there is a hill next to you and your in a little valley below it, if the bomb car detonates on top of the hill, most likely you will live. I thought this may have gone away since the last patch but not so as I experienced it last night.

Re: PR Statistics / Useless Information
Good Afternoon,
Caches are spawnable until they become known to everyone right? Everyone knows this, but did you know that it is spawnable regardless of how many enemy is around it for the full 5 minutes?
Was playing Fallujah today and we knew where the cache would spawn. We waited and low and behold, it appeared. We didn't have C4 with us and our C4 guy kept getting killed on his way to us. There were about 5 or 6 of us surrounding the cache. We kept killing enemy for at least 3 to 4 minutes until we finally were able to get C4 there.
Now, the crazy thing about this is that you can overrun an unknown cache spawn but when it becomes known, they can spawn on it for that initial 5 minutes.

I believe this is intended behavior, so that ghosters and whatnot can't just keep the unknown/new known permanently unspawnable until they kill it without issue.RAWSwampFox wrote:Now, the crazy thing about this is that you can overrun an unknown cache spawn but when it becomes known, they can spawn on it for that initial 5 minutes.

Good Evening,
After building a few things online with a few of my friends last night, it appears that the only real advantage for multiple shovels building one asset is the FOB. It appears that you really don't save that much on anything else.

How to place a marker accuratly
(lots of people already know it, but for newbs)
place your 3d marker on the part of the map you like
right click so your movement in encumbered
take one step forward, and then one step back
then place the marker.
the target marker (example: An infantry diamond) will smap to your 3d marker.

Wrong thread, this belongs to this one https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... ips-3.html as it's quite a useful information, not a useless one.

Re: PR Statistics / Useless Information
Good Afternoon,
Would love to know the answer to this question. If I have combat engineer and lay 6 or so mines. I give the kit to a fellow teammate, will I get the kills or will he or will no one when enemy hit any of the 6 mines I laid? Also, is it 10 or 20 minutes after a kit is dropped that the mines disappear?

You get the kills since you put those mines. Its 20mins when they disappear

Good Afternoon,
It takes 20'ish seconds for a Combat Engineer to build a razorwire and 23 wrenches. Shovel takes about double.

Excuse me for my ignorance but what "q" ammo check function?
I this something I am not aware of? There was discussions about the ammo check function but as far as I know it never got implemented. If you could fill me in on this one it would be much appreciated
