ok back to the topic, i hate to burst waffenbaum and brokenarrows bubble but it IS true, drivers of convoys are taught to drive and shoot at the sametime just as Super6 described, i think they do this whenever necessary, such as a gunner was shot or also the passenger in the back was shot, i beleive its kind of a new thing.

although the thing about rolling out of the vehicle, i dont like it because i doubt a soldier would bail out like that, its a very rare situation, maybe see how PR goes before you think about that, or maybe if it was added it, you could only bail when your vehicle hits those last two health marks and is about ot burst.

as far as carbombs go or other IED, maybe the MEC can have some kind of kit made for that, and also.... if thats the case they dont need to bailout because its jihad and such.

and as for vehicles still rolling when you get out, i agree with that, when you hop out of a car in BF2 it seems to slow down too much.

And you can provide some proof, photographic or otherwise, that hummer drivers often shoot at enemies while steering with one hand, and that it is an often used tactic?

I still say it isn't something that happens enough in the real world to be useful in the mod. Having a gunner on the roof promotes teamwork. Give the tards the ability to make drivebys, combined with their already extremely dangerous ramming attack, and the gameplay will be insta-fucked.

I can't see how this can function especially well in any case, having the steering wheel in the left side of all western cars, your right arm (The shooting arm) will be inside the vehicle, which means you'll have to aim and fire your rifle with your left hand. Now, I don't know what he diver would want to hit, but it better be a great deal bigger than a barn door.

i said to sue pistol only for shooting right side as i figured that a rifle would be too heavy and hte accuracy should be dropped. If you don't see it fit to have an animation that allows the person to roll upon exiting so be it i jsut thought that 0 to 60 might exert the kind of forces that make the body fall or roll.

i would bet it is a last resort situation, it seems like the drivers first job would be to drive.

the drivers job is to drive but you can sue hte mouse to look left

right... so he can look around...

so im saying he could shoot out hte left window as the right window would be too hard and changing to your pisotl everytime would be pointless. so, becasue we have ti confirmed by multiple people that watched the same show i did that it is a real thing for liek convoys and such so i think that if the driver can multitask the shooting and driving by looking back and forth then put the option in there. i just think it would be nice to give him a chance to defend himself when the other seats are filled or he is idling

if hes idling he can hot into the turrett, i realize it may be used in certain instances but i dont want this game turned into GTA en masse.

We aint gonna be doing no drive-by's on crips in this game.
