Add Time For Entering and Exiting Vehicles

I'd like to see a timer, progess bar, or first person animation of say 3-5 seconds for entering and exiting vehicles depending on the vehicle of course.

Would seem more realistic I think than instantly bailing under fire OR or entering a vehicle when chased by someone allowing you to engage them from that vehicle in nanoseconds.

Seriously, I dunno if we can do that. I know there was an exit time in BF42, but any value higher than .75 seconds or so, the game wouldn't accept. I wonder if anims would help...

I think people just want to see the guy climb in the tank or see the airplane open up and they guy jump in... just somthing a bit more realistic.

Enter and exit animations are needed.

exit animation could be short, like if you hit sprint in dune buggie you could like jump out and roll or something. or you could have the rc-90 as a weapon choice when you drive. real us convoys have the driver shooting an m16 out hte window with his right hand and resitng the gun on his left arm so you should have that option

there has to be some sort of entering animation. this a reality mod so people just magically transporting into a vehicle has to go.

this makes since but there shoudl be 2 exiting animaitons one with the sprint button held so you roll and lose some health and all stamina but will get out faster by jumping and the vehicles need to keep going when you bail, im sick of getting out of a hummer to c4 bomb it and have it just stop when i get out.

yes, jsut like GTA but in bf2 have it dorp your stamina because you used your adreniline getting out of the car and are injured

This has been discussed in a lot of threads already, and besides, soldiers do not *roll* out of vehicles. This isn't an action movie, or GTA. Just because it may have happened a few times in real life (Under very other circumstances) dosn't mean it is realistic, nor even worth considering. And as much as I'd like enter/exist animations too, there hasn't been a clear answer yet, and yet another thread dosn't help the issue any.

i dont care about that animations as much as a time period to get out of the vehicle, that sucks if you can only put it to .75 seconds though.

i thik that if a soldier could save his life by bailing he would do it so you coudl use it as a c4 bobm but you shoudl lose lots of health in hte process. I alsow think that like i mentinoed b4 drivers should be able to shoot and drive with their right hand on the gun proped on their left arm which is on the wheel so when you look left you can shoot out window or do something liek a driveby on the right side but it wont be as accurate with a riffle so only pistols or some thing out the right side but this would allow you to have your rc-90 detonator out so you dont have to bail

whoa whoa whoa, this is project reality, not GTA. maybe it is POSSIBLE to shoot and drive but i dont think its really something to be added, im sure that its very rare to see a driver doing that when he has an MG topside and other troops shooting out the sides. his job is to DRIVE.

Wouldn't it also be super swell with some afterburners on the jeeps? and some major jumps to use them on? and then we could tape napalm bombs under the cars so that you could fly over an enemy base and you could roll out of the car and use your parachute and you could destroy their base like that!?!!?

*Sigh* let me try saying this again:

This isn't an action movie.

This isn't GTA.

This isn't a game about Vin Diesel taking on the Al Queda single handedly.

waffen, im just saying that we could let the driver have weapons in the car and your sad sarcastic joke about napalm is of no use and pregresses us none. letting the driver have a weapon and drive is very possible and is how real convoys work.
