lol I've never had experiences like that before. I've met some weird and useless people, but still...

btw does any1 else just suddenly have all the text disappear then come back later? I wasn't sure if I'd pressed a button or it was maybe coded in to make text comms less acheivable. To clarify, all I see in top left is the outpost defend/attack notices and the chat disappears then returns later.

Same happened to me a month ago or so...
This guy came on the server I was playing on and he was just insulting everyone on purpose, like saying the Finnish are ugly useless people who deserve to die, same on Danes, Germans and pretty much every country in Europe..
Then the **** went on to peaople in The Middleeast, saying they are defined retards and they don't deserve to live..
Then he said USA is the only country in the world deserving to exist...

Then I teabagged him to death, he was calling me strange things and he left the server..

why didn't an admin just ban him from the server right away? honestly though i never have time to read most of the chat if there's any because im in the middle of a firefight

In closing to this thread.. I suppose. Let's finish it off with this question shall we?

Should we be making a harder push to enforce the following points than we already have. I can't help but feel we've come up with a simple solution but are going to forget the solution and we will resort back to threads bashing to difference between what we say here - and what we say on servers.

- Advertise the forum more agressively. Posting links in the guide may not be enough, maybe adverts in server messages would be useful.

- An official server is an interesting - but potentially complicated topic. Maybe a whole other thread would be useful? That's of course, if the DEVs appreciate such a disscusion (please let us know if this a complete NO go). Reasons? Why not have a server represent exactly how the home of PR (the forum) interprets how the game should be played.

Come on lets get this stuff out there, lets make the PR forum the actual HOME of the PR community!

furthermore...if someone organized a paypal type system where people could automatically donate to support a good server that we controled would be great too..

actually, you guys can go right ahead and organize a bad *** OFFICIAL pr server if you like...no need to consult us aside from maybe giving us all admin access..

the admins could chip in for an official PR server couldnt they?

OK, well, with that blessing..

I'm gonna contact Eggman and have him officially declare a 'go' for myself setting up a donation speicifically for the PR server.

I would also like him opinions on admin acess.

I hope he doesn't mind, considering how busy he probably is haha.

i owuld wait till after .6 is released as eggman is highly likely to bite your head off..do something down your throat and then call your mom for tea and crumpets...

in other words do the research first and then contact egg when you are ready and have something more than an idea for him... cheers

Regardless, I've ran, owned and administrated in game servers before. So I have experience. I've done plenty of research, and have let him know this. I decided not to go into detail though, because as you said, all the DEVs are likely to be very very busy!

I'm understandable enough to have to wait a week or two for a reply

What is the homoerotic fascination with teabagging ?
I mean I can understand it from a 12yo playing CS but I have seen adults, otherwise intelligent mature people doing to unkown bodies on the battlefield and I just don't understand.

Because I myself hate being teabagged... He insulted everyone so heavily so in ym anger I found it better to give him arse than knifing his dead body... I lolled while reading that post.

I don't know about everybody else but I still have to download the mod!!!
I registered first because I didn't want to look like an idiot in-game and to make sure PR would run..so I would't waste all those hours downloading something that won't work
Some people have been playing the mod from the start, so they know what they're at..but for the new people(like me) I think they should register,read the guides and post on the forums. It helps, and people do reply..unlike some of the other forums I visited.
So, new people register..read guides...post on forums...make friends...download mod....play :d rillserg
