The Chinese bought the Varyag under the conditions that it would not be used for combat, but all parts are included for research purposes. It is also dry docked in a housing probably, and with a little work, it can be combat ready.

Off Topic: It is possible to download the BF2 editor and use it without a copy of the game?

On Topic: Building a Nimitz class carrier as your first modeling project is very ambitious but go for it.
Also I like that idea of a battle with two opposing carriers.

Yeah, i await such carrier to put in good use for a long time now...

bad news , found out school was starting in a month now and not 2 months, i have to end it knowing i wont have time to work on it.., if i have time + remember about it , ill work on it again , jar has a better chance since he already made one... ugh i was really pumped about this sorry if i got everyone hopes high

How does school get changed by a month?? things have changed a lot since my school days...

found out i was going back to my school from last year... homework was so intense you have to spend at least 2 - 3 doing it well at least for me , if i was going to the public school down the street i'd prolly do it

school sucks. A nimitz carrier would be cool but the Polygon count would be huge and probably create tons of lag, plus having all those machine guns, lifts, and missle launchers working would just add to it. But still good on u to attempt it i like a challange myself, but more of a realistic one.
