ehh screw all the heavily modded m14s... just keep it simple with maybe an ACOG, a couple fire selector modes and possbily a 2x or 4x scope.. something simple... personally, I'd like to just have a plain old m14 wooden stock with iron sights... fullauto/semi auto fire modes... but thats just me...

The M-14 is being looked at as an extra installment into PR. However, at such vital stages of trying to implement the UK into the mod our minds have been somewhat distracted from the US marines. That does not mean no, however, it is not a definite yes for PR 0.1. I would guess possibly in PR 0.2, due to the fact that we will be working on new toys and goodies for all armies in said instalment of the mod. Thank you for suggesting this weapon however, it was a good choice if I say so myself.

I wouldn't mind a few different versions of the M14

Im quite certain the Devs got your point. While I have no inside knowledge to support this im willing to bet a fair share that the M14 will be in PR in some shape or form.

This has been posted a few times recently in other threads but a tentative plan is to replace the choosable sniper class with a designated marksman who may use a weapon derived from the m14 or something else that doesn't use bolt action. Then the bolt action sniper weapons could become limited pickup kits.

Although the M-14 is the biggest piece of **** on full auto, on semi auto with a Aimpoint or acog it is a devastating weapon. Especially with optics, you really have to feel bad for anyone on the other end of it. Would be a great addition however I think they should just focus on completing what is already in the works and maybe add it as a update later on.

I "keep" bumping it? I've bumped it once, yes, once, and yeah there is a reason behind it. The reason being, I like to talk amongst the PRMM community about the m14, and maybe someone who hasn't really read through the thread will add something vital, important, or none the less interesting about the m14. Cool off, son.
